The location was beautiful and so peaceful - great grounds and felt so relaxed sitting up by the room, looking across the grounds. Everyone was so accommodating it made the stay such a pleasure.

The room was large with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet area. Large doors/windows opened out onto the front allowing for plenty of fresh air. There is no air-conditioning, so this was useful for the summer nights. The bed was comfortable and a variety of alternative bedding covers and pillows were provided. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful owner/operators who went above and beyond. We loved it so much we extended our stay. Excellent room set up for a family of 5, we all slept well. The children were sad to leave. The restaurant is excellent. Beautiful setting. Great drinks lost, incredible value. Food was refined and delicious, I would suggest they raise their prices!

Our host welcomed us and presented the property. There is an amazing view from the property over the valley and St. Emilion is on the opposite hill. The room was cosy and clean, with a comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was very good with products "du coin". Even it was a short stay, we enjoyed it. Thank you.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Château Haut-Clarise in the heart of Saint-Émilion. The place is cozy, charming, and full of character, offering the perfect mix of comfort and authentic vineyard atmosphere. What truly made our stay exceptional was the warm hospitality— Julian welcomed us with genuine kindness and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They were incredibly helpful in suggesting local wine tastings, which led us to discover some hidden gems in the region we might have otherwise missed. If you’re looking for a peaceful, French country side personal experience in Saint-Emilion , this is the place to be. We would return in a heartbeat!

We stayed in the large upstairs (Family) room which was comfortable and very well appointed. The pool is lovely, great view and very clean overall. We opted for the charcuterie+ wine which was fab and amazing value also, would recommend. Once our two children (6 5 and 3.5) eventually succumbed to sleep we had a pleasant night. Breakfast the next morning was equally lovely, charming setting and pleasant conversation. The homemade Honey and Pork Rilletes as well as crepes all added a nice touch
