Hotel in Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis
Located in the heart of the Vanoise Natural Park, La Clé des Champs is just 656 feet from the main cable car and sits in a garden. Its terrace offers views of the Dent Parrachée Mountain. Loved the location on the edge of high fields above the town, the secluded-feeling gardens, the view of a mountain peak out the window and the sound of the river at night. Loved the lived- in feel and homey touches. Also immensely enjoyed the house specialty of “Chaud Pierre” - various meats you cook yourself on a hot stone griddle along with sauces, frites and salade vert. Enjoyed the old wood-beamed dining room with its old b/w photos of La Cle des Champs in earlier days. Access and parking were very easy.

Featuring free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk, Hôtel Saint Charles Val Cenis offers pet-friendly accommodations in Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis, 164 feet from TSD6 Ramasse. Amazing experience. The staff at the hotel are excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. The lady who I think was the manager (Charline Docquoir) was particularly good, but many others, including Marine, Stephanie and Laic were outstanding too. The hotel is very well designed as a ski-in-ski-out hotel. The family suite was excellent, with very clever use of space. The light switches were at a height that children can reach, for example. The room also had a small kitchenette which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was great too. The wifi was fast and reliable (I was having Zoom calls for a few of the days for work). We loved the pool and jacuzzi, our children swam there every day after skiing. The location is superb, right next to the lifts, with the ski school, ski shop and creche all directly underneath. The local village is really nice too and is a very short walk away. Val Cenis is a small ski resort but there were more than enough slopes to keep us busy for 10 days (a couple of hours per day, we don't have time for full-day skiing any more). Overall I couldn't fault the experience, it is hard to imagine it being any better.

Great location, right next to the mountains and the lake. Friendly staff, very nice people - we are all vegans and they didn't have any vegan food on the menu, so they they made an exception for us and made us gnocchi with roasted veggies on the side, it was very tasty!

A great place and a great host. The view from the studio is amazing. The kitchen was really fully stoked with everything you might need for food prep. The host Mr. Danton was really nice, friendly and accommodating. He helped us bring our things in when we arrived and throughout our stay was updating us on the weather situation and giving us information on local events and things to do. The resort itself is great with the ski lift right next to the studio and a SPA with a heated pool for relaxing after a day of skiing.

Lovely skiing week with perfect weather! Hotel was fab and was in an ideal location! Plenty of restaurants but food in all were very similar. Skiing opportunity for small children is ideal with the long winding escargot green slope!
Very nice ski station. Pretty and well arranged. Every commodities is at walking distance from most hotels. The stations is big enough for 3/4 days, but I wouldn't stay there for a full week. You know it all by heart after 3 days. Everyone is welcoming and smiling over there. Very pleasant! The restaurant "La Bambiche" in Lanslebourg was truely amazing. Don't be afraid of the inside that look like a small pub, the chef knows his ways around a kitchen!
The Maurienne valley is absolutely stunning, once you get past the "industrial" bit, with a scattering of lesser known ski resorts (to brits). Spectacular views and access to some remarkable ski tours make this a great area to visit. A car is a definite bonus, though there are regular buses to other areas. We only ate at the Vieille Poste - 3 times, no need to go elsewhere! Most of Lanslebourg has avoided the architectural ugliness of many other ski resorts, and some bits are genuinely lovely.
Location was great and everything is on site that we needed. Very close to ski lift/ski school. Apartment was comfortable and appreciate all the small touches. Ski locker on the ground floor, a massive bonus. One toilet for 6 adults is not really enough but we managed. We had 2 showers at least. Disappointed that the spa facilities were closed as that was a big reason for booking but we did get told in advance that they wouldn’t be open. Pool was too cold, only went in once.
We were passing through and this was a convenient spot for us to overnight. It is a stunning area with loads to do and we will certainly consider returning at some point to see more of what the area has to offer.
A prefect aki area for learners and more advanced skiers alike. The mountain restaurants are good value for money. The queues are non existent for the ski lifts. This is a very French resort with very few English people.
Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis
Great apartment in complex with a free spa and outdoor pool. Secure underground parking with bag drop off point. Pool gets a little windy and not the warmest but is a real bonus for the apartment price. Close to the the cabin for walks in the summer. A 10 - 15 min walk to Lanslevillard or Lanslebourg with shops and bars, plus the complex does a bakery order service each day. Val Cenis is a great valley for summer activities, walking, high ropes, visiting beautiful villages, cheese, lakes and forts.
We wanted a reasonably comfortable base for a ski touring week at a fair price. The Alpazur ticked those boxes. It's probably the best located hotel for the ski lifts and a great restaurant across the road. Can't comment on the food at the hotel. Our rooms had been upgraded recently to an acceptable standard, plenty of hot water and having a kettle etc was a welcome bonus.

A stunning hotel, brilliant staff and beautiful surroundings. A lovely room with breathtaking views, coffee making facilities, spacious bathroom and shower. A real home from home experience. Shame we only stayed one night!
building full of character, the owner was very friendly and welcoming, and gave me good recommendations for restaurants etc. Parking was super easy and the hotel is in a quiet and beautiful area.
