Very nice place with garden, right next to a beautiful forest. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The family room is amazing: good bedding, very cosy and creative environment. Breakfast was great with home-made bread and croissants, and local products.

Modern and spacious room, excellent breakfast, very friendly host. We arrived late, too late for dinner at the property (it stops serving quite early), but we were offered that a meal could be prepared and left in the fridge for us to warm up. We preferred to stop on the way, but it was nice to have to option.

    The southern Vosges mountains are somewhat remote for UK...

    The southern Vosges mountains are somewhat remote for UK visitors to France and we stayed there only because we were en route for Austria. However, the rolling wooded hills are very attractive and the view from the top of Balon d'Alsace, the highest peak in the area which is an easy 15 minute walk from several carparks, is absolutely stunning. We explored the 2022 Tour de France stage from Le Thillot to Le Planche des Belles Filles of the 2022 TdF. There seem to be lots of enticing trails in the woods and we saw a large number of cyclists. This is hill country rather than mountainous as found in the Alps and Pyrenees.
