Very friendly hosts and wonderful location on a farm in a small town in the French countryside. Clean and cozy caravan accommodation. Loved the hospitality and animals (sheep, goats, rabbits, dogs, doves and chickens).

We stayed in the one bedroom accommodation at "Le Lieu Daguet" and it was just perfect for the 2 of us. Wonderful blend of the rustic historic charm with modern amenities: Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, updated kitchen appliances, good lighting, and super quiet. Stephanie and David are also great hosts -- offered great guidance on everything from where to get groceries to which of the D-Day museums was worth checking out, helped us find other off the beaten track bits of area history, and shared some of the fresh eggs their hens had just laid. It was terrific having them on site and getting daily bakery deliveries through them, but we also felt like we had our own private space.

The welcome apple pie and cider were a nice touch. Our host was very helpful and there was a lot of tourist information available in the house.

I had read all the reviews which had said how great this place was but it was still even better than I expected. Hosts were brilliant and incredibly helpful.
