Wonderful blend of the rustic historic charm with modern amenities: Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, updated kitchen appliances, good lighting, and super quiet. Stephanie and David are also great hosts -- offered great guidance on everything from where to get groceries to which of the D-Day museums was worth checking out, helped us find other off the beaten track bits of area history, and shared some of the fresh eggs their hens had just laid. It was terrific having them on site and getting daily bakery deliveries through them, but we also felt like we had our own private space.
