The host. The husband and wife were very friendly and accommodating. The place was very pleasant and clean. My room was cozy and comfortable with a beautiful view from the window.

We loved our overnight stay at la Grande Vesvre. It was fascinating to stay in an historic edifice dating back 1000 years! The hosts were so welcoming and enthusiastic about this property and their plans for further elaborating the offerings. We took a tour of the rooms currently available and they are each decorated with thoughtful style and comfort. There are nice unique touches around every corner which are appreciated by travelers who seek to discover the region they are staying in. This place will surely be a big success and welcome many, many happy travelers over the years. We wish you all the best and thank you again for welcoming us. *Breakfast was delicious - great coffee and the BEST part was the local honey, right from their property!! **As the owners are just starting out on this big project, we shared some suggestions. We loved being able to chat about ideas with such receptive hosts.

It was a lovely location, quiet, and I wish we weren’t so tired so to enjoy the night sky. Our hosts helped us find a nice place for dinner, and showed us their collection of beautiful birds. Breakfast was perfect, homemade bread and jam, and good coffee to begin our day.

La Fralinette enjoys a location in Fralignes, 16 miles from Nigloland and 18 miles from Aube Stadium.

Beautiful renovated farm with some 7 private rooms. The room is like new and has this special charm of older stone/wood construction. The breakfast was superb, served in a nicely furnished room. The gardens surrounding the property are large and the pool is a fantastic plus during the summer season. For anybody who wants a quiet/relaxing place in a small and authentic farm/hotel (called gite in France), do not hesitate. This place is great in all aspects and the couple we met on site was returning year after year.

L'orée du lac - Formule Chambres offers accommodations in Marcenay, 31 miles from MuséoParc Alésia. Free Wifi is available throughout the property, and Tanlay Golf Course is 17 miles away.

It was quiet (except for the dogs outside at night). The room was comfortable as were the living areas in the downstairs. There was a lovely yard for us to sit in. Breakfast was very nice. The host was exceptional.
