Disheveled chic, dont judge this amazing place by its exterior, Jean Jaques and Marie are very welcoming and have restored much of the property themselves with exceptional levels of quality and sensitivity to the history of the house, whilst making it very comfortable and highly functional (bathroom/wifi) for modern standards. We stayed in what turned out to be the bedroom of the original owner of the house, a statesman's suite is not under stating it, very grand, beautifully finished. The work involved in renovating and then maintaining this estate boggles the mind - but doing so they very much are - highly recommend.
