Great hotel in beautiful town.

Family-run hotel, extremely friendly and helpful owners and employees, great location in the middle of the village, very cozy restaurant and bar with cool music, great food and drinks, very good and extensive breakfast buffet. Just perfect!

As a base for exploring the Pyrenees, this place is perfect. It's in the center of town, easy to find and there are several parking lots close by. The staff speaks English, so it was easy for this American to get around. They also have a nice breakfast option. Finally, there are many restaurants and bakeries nearby, so it's easy to get things.

We discovered there was a three day festival going on in town when we arrived. There was lots of singing, bands playing, and beer stands everywhere in town, including right in front of our room. The owner/receptionist kindly moved us to the apartment upstairs in the back which was very quiet.

Our stay was wonderful. The room was super comfortable and the staff were wonderful. Very friendly family run establishment. The location could not have been better...easy to walk around town and on the road to explore. Safe bike parking as well. Hope to return for another visit soon

Typical French hotel , 1.5km from Centre of Luz St Sauveur. Room was small but clean and comfortable. View from the room was nice. The immediate area is interesting to walk around. Staff helpful. Parking outside hotel was no problem when we were there.

The location of Val de Roland is perfect. This was our first trip out to the Pyrenees, and we couldn't have picked a better spot to start exploring. Since we traveled over a holiday weekend off-season, many businesses were closed i.e. restaurants, shops, and activities. We were just there to explore and hike. The rooms are small apartments, great if you stay for two days to one week or longer. There is a small kitchen, bathroom and we had three beds (2 adults, 2 kids). The balcony in our unit looked out directly to the mountains, it was exactly what we were looking for getting out of the city for a few days. We only saw one woman working the front desk and she was great, despite being on her own she had everything under control and was incredibly nice. We'll definitely return to this location! Val de Roland is within one hour of the Cirque de Gavarnie and another ski town called Cauterets, which is on the way to Pont d'Espagne.

The central location was fabulous. The first floor 2BR apartment had a lift which worked well. good kitchen and bathroom. Two comfortable small bedrooms. Large dining table which was great. Excellent dishwasher and washing machine. Fast wifi. Wonderful and quick response from owner. Key access via lockbox is fantastic. public car parking very close by.

A great place to stay for cycling the area. The house is very well equipped, spacious, have a nice terrace with a great view on the surrounding mountains ( and to watch the Bastille day firework !), a large garden , a handy bike storage box . The access to Luz is a nice walk by the footbridge over the Gave de Gavernie.
