A well appointed gîte with a lot of attention to details. Comfortable beds with soft pillows for weary travellers. There was safe storage for our bicycles too. The place is wonderfully peaceful and quiet and very close to the Vélo Francette, ideal for a break. Amanda and Stefan, who own the place, are the kindest hosts imaginable. We will be back!

The location just outside Lassay les Chateaux was amazing! It is 2 minute drive or a 15 minute walk on a dedicated path through the forest to this medieval town!!! Our gite was a full apartment attached to the family's stone house. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive. Inside and out, It is beautiful, quiet, clean, and well designed with: views over the countryside, a nice fully stocked kitchenette with a large fridge, stovetop, microwave, and even a washing machine; a beautiful shower room; dining table and chairs; small salon area with couch, chair, and book-shelves filled with games and books and a very comfortable queen size bed. It is a rural location and the family lives on site, so it has private parking on the property and is very safe! We stayed an additional night and look forward to returning here anytime we are in this region!
