Breakfast was plentyful and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home and coping with our poor French. We were treated to a crepe making demonstration. They make a huge attempt to provide a tasty dinner which we shared with them. A great place to share fishing stories.

Moon River is beautifully situated on the gently flowing river. At night, it's utterly silent. We had a lovely cottage at our disposal. The beds are great! And a very friendly host!

We booked the 1 bed lodge for a couple and on arrival we were met by our host who offered us an upgrade to a bigger lodge with use of the pool. We were able to park our motorcycle right next to the lodge. The site consisted of 3 lodges with secure parking behind a gate. Highly recommend if you're visiting Oradour which is only a 5 minute drive away. Perfect for anyone with a motorcycle.
