Review for La Ruche...🐝 I'm currently working over in France for 3months and for Christmas my wife & kids treated me to a 3 night stay at La Ruche.....I was welcomed by the owner Mark who greeted me with warm enthusiasm....he is very proud of his French style barn and all that he offers.....the rooms are very spacious and delivers exactly what is needed for the most peaceful time to relax and recharge.....it's actually situated in a really great spot to admire the lovely countryside which is worth a stroll round..... Mark is a great host and is very accommodating and relaxed even if you just want to sit outside for a cuppa....he can share stories of his beekeeping and the honey is great on toast...... Thanks to Mark and the time he puts in it certainly made my Christmas away from my family one to be thankful for....🐝👌

The hosts are lovely and eager to please, but they area also relatively new to hosting guests as well as relatively new to France. They kindly brought tea to my room in the evening, and a lovely continental breakfast in the morning.

    Breakfast was amazing.

    Breakfast was amazing. My daughter asked for an egg sunny side up and it was delicious. Fresh baked bread, coffee by the French press so 10/10 Very quiet neighborhood so you get definitely a good night of sleep out of the hot summer season. It's perfect to stay overnight if you travel south (what we were doing). And the mascot Charlie was our best mate :) The height of the room is extremely low for anyone higher than 170 cm. The bathroom is so small that moving around is hardly impossible as well as to stand up. Even in the room I had to walk bent over almost the entire time. Also, the room was way too hot to sleep in and the fan nearly helps to cool down the room.
