With great food, music and culture to feed any traveling mind, Paris has it all. The architecture is complimented by the colourful buildings, the Metro is so well signposted and easy to navigate,, even as newbies to the city we managed to get almost anywhere in this amazing city within 20 mins on the Metro. Its clean, vibrant and has the diversity you'd expect from a capital city, so much to see and do, get on the hop on hop off bus for a real treat and a good way to get your bearings. Highlights for us were the Catacombs, Notre Dame, Moulin Rouge, Cafe de 2 Moulins (excellent snails, frog legs and mussels), only there for 3 days but crammed a lot in, we will be back very soon.Guest review byJBHUnited Kingdom - 10.0

An amazing city. A cruise on the Siene at night is magical. Just buy a standard ticket but use it after dark. Montmartre is very pretty but go early to avoid the crowds. Very busy city but plenty of places of interest. Would advise to book time slots for the most famous sites to avoid queuing. Sacre Coeur was breath taking in the sunlight. It wasn't a perfect location. I arrived at 10:00 PM. I didn't receive any assistance at check-in, so I couldn't check in the apartment the first night. I had to stay with my family at another hotel, incurring additional expenses, costs that weren't compensated by the poor service provided by Checkmyguest. Added to this was the slow Wi-Fi in the apartment and the faulty kitchen's cafeteria. I opted for Perfect Location because of its proximity to Gare de Lyon, but the area is plagued by homeless people and Afro-French people selling drugs at 10:00 PM. The price per night is too high for an area that's dangerous at night. I recommend hotels near the Eiffel Tower or Montparnasse. I traveled from Chile to London, Venice, and Rome.
