Le Romantica offers free Wi-Fi, an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. It is located in the countryside, 6 km from Deauville and 7 km from Honfleur and the beach. The rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was really nice in a lovely setting, plus it was the best coffee we had since leaving America.
Offering an outdoor pool, a garden and barbecue facilities, La Griotte & Spa is located in Pennedepie. Provided with free WiFi, it offers refined guest rooms and a self-catering cottage. Lovely building, one of the most accommodating, friendly hosts I have ever had at a B&B, nice breakfast, very short drive to Honfleur and close beach access.
LA GRIOTTE 2, a property with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, is located in Pennedepie, 600 metres from Butin Beach. Guests can go for a swim in the private pool. Great location - convenient to Deauville, Honfleur and coast. Excellent breakfast. Hosts very welcoming. Nice pool - unfortunately the weather wasn't really suitable. Convenient to have a kitchenette.
Located just 300 metres from Pennedepie Beach, this B&B offers elegant guest rooms. Home-made biscuits and jam are served for breakfast, and free Wi-Fi access is provided. The house was beautiful. It was very clean. The breakfast was lovely. Homemade yoghurts. Different types of bread. It was very near to Honfluer. Plenty of private parking. A very good find. Will go there again if we are in the area.
Nicely placed for visiting pretty Honfleur. Had a lovely meal at Moulin St Georges. Interesting visit to Manoir D’Abreval to see how they make cidre and Calvados - and of course to sample some and buying one or two bottle to take home!
Interesting hotel but not everything seemed ready for use end of May. Staff very few, restaurant not always open-nor was the bar. It was a lovely hotel but needed people around, it lacked warmth and atmosphere. The staff we did see were delightful and helpful. It possibly lacked an older person being in charge!
Pennedepie is not your regular touristy place but more of a collection of hotels and restaurant's that are spread out so it feels very countrified rather than towny. There is an interseting shop that sells local specialties. If you need your entertainment laid on then go to Honfleur or Trouville.
Not a destination in its own right but it is very well located for getting around the area. Very quiet and relaxed, unlike the in-season crowds in the wonderful places close by that are well worth visiting. There are good restaurants close by.
In lovely countryside but close to the beautiful town on Honfleur and Deauville the the opposite direction. No restaurant, although we had a snack on one evening in the hotel. On night we ate at an excellent restaurant in the village, the other in Honfleur. We are not a young couple so were not into "activities", beyond walking and driving to interesting places. We expect to return soon.
The hotel and gardens are beautiful and full of charm. The rooms are cozy and the staff is great. We had dinner at the hotel and had the “Menu découverte “ we were the first guests to taste it, local and seasonal products with a modern interpretation. The waiter asked for feedback a offered a digestif in the mezzanine, a cozy place for a drink. We will definitely come back with the spa is ready!
Lovely hotel just outside Honfleur staff were very helpful and pleasant food was good and breakfast plenty of choice
