Located in Plagne Villages in the Rhône-Alps region, with La Plagne Center Ski School and ski elevators nearby, Résidence Prestige Odalys Front de Neige provides accommodations with free WiFi, as well... Everything we needed. Comfortable, clean. I've written a review before so the same applies. Lovely place, great snow for the time of year 9th - 16th April.
Studio 1 pièce PLAGNE VILLAGE 4 personnes 2050 M PIED DES PISTES, a property with a restaurant, is located in Plagne Villages, a 7-minute walk from La Plagne Centre Ski School. The location was the strongest point of the property: just outside the Telebus connecting Plagne Village with Plagne Centre; very close to supermarket and Ski School and Ski equipment locations in Plagne Village; the backdoor was directly on the slopes. Other good point: free parking just outside the property. Other good point: the apartment had all kitchen utensils, and a small balcony on the slope.
The whole site is fantastic- I love how le Plagne Village is so accessible from Centre and 1800. Transport system is efficient, safe and makes travelling around really easy. It's the second visit for us and we love it.
The ski station La Plagne is the BEST ski station for families in my personal experience. Lots and lots of blue slopes, the lines in the elevators never lasted more than 5-10min at the rush hours and much less in between. La Plagne offers all the activities, dining and shopping a family needs. Excellent medical center (I, unfortunately needed it for a tooth infection).
Nice, not too large village that is part of the big Paradiski domain, which is easy to access. Good for families but also for people who enjoy apres-ski cafés and restaurants. Free cable car connection down to Plagne Centre and good bus connection to all villages too.
Plagne Village was ideal for us as we prefer quieter, smaller places. It had a Spar which sold everything you’re likely to need, ski hire shop, ski pass office, ESF ski school and a few eating places. However if you needed more shops and restaurants it was a free shuttle bus ride to Plagne Centre(1km away) or you could take the télébus down, also free- both every 5 or 10 minutes! You can ski from Plagne Village straight down to Plagne Centre via 2 different pistes to several lifts and from there access an abundance of ‘blues’ very close by!
Lots of blue runs that linked nicely together. Great for families Very busy at peak times, lift queues were very long at times, lift staff could have been a little more helpful in filling the lifts to prevent longer waiting times and friendlier.
