I was travelling from the South west of France to Caen/Ouistreham to catch my ferry and wanted a mid-way point, not too far from the motorway network (A10/A28) and Maison du 7 provided this very well. Fanny and her husband have provided a lovely calm place to stay, and were able to offer dinner as well, on request, which was very helpful as I didn't want to drive out. There is a restaurant nearby but not always open, it seems. They offer the use of their lovely lounge, where I sat and read for a bit, as well as their pretty garden. Le Mans is not too far away, so is a good option for folk visiting there. Very welcoming hosts (and excellent English spoken too!). I will return!

Parking on-site is available, and the apartment also provides bike rental for guests who want to explore the surrounding area.
