A lovely small town with a nice vibe and plenty of options to get out on the water and explore the coast. The town is great but also easy to get up into the hills for fabulous walks with wild goats and amazing views. A lovely combination of beach/sea and mountain/ forests. Two nights is enough. Plenty of boat trip options and companies operating from here. Beach at Porto not great. Plenty of restaurant options. Porto Ota has a beautiful pebble beach of all colors. It is a quiet town at the end of the road. It lies in a valley below towering mountains. There is much to see nearby. I had originally booked a tour to the "3 Marvels" (Les 3 Merveilles) with Porto Aventure (which is affiliated with the hotel), but they weren't operating that day so the receptionist put me on a boat with a different company at no extra cost to me. It was off-season (late April), and I got a free upgrade to a much bigger room.
