If you are considering about staying at this hotel, DO IT!!!!! It was such an amazing experience and if I had chance, I would give 100 points instead of just 10! The location, the hotel room, the pool, the personnel, ... everything was just like a dream for us and we are so happy that we booked this hotel for 2 nights (we even considered about extending our stay there, but unfortunately it was booked out then). In addition to the pool which has a great view, you can order cocktails (with and without alcohl) which the owner of the hotel prepares with a lot of love :) The breakfast is full of local healthy products, which we could enjoy outside with the view.

Located in Rocamadour, Hotel Le Troubadour welcomes you in an old 17th-century farm renovated with a heated swimming pool. It is set in the heart of a large park. We loved the peace and quiet of the hotel and the beautiful, rural surroundings. Mathieu was a perfect host, even when we turned up at his hotel out of the blue, a bit early to check in! He was extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Our apartment was beautiful, spacious and clean. The beds were lovely and very comfortable with thick quilts. Breakfast was particularly good, with a wide range of choices to suit everyone. A great stay!

This 2-star hotel is located at the highest point of Rocamadour, 164 feet from a viewpoint offering views of the medieval city. We were up above the city with a great view of it lit up at night. We walked down in to the old city but took the ascenseurs back up to our hotel level after visiting. Much easier to park where our hotel was located than at the old city. Wonderful breakfast and front desk folks were very helpful. They gave us directions for an organinc ice creamery in the country just 2 km away. It was worth the short drive! The room was very clean!

Unique medieval city clings to cliff edge, atmospheric and peaceful. Enjoyed leisurely 3 course lunch with delicious Bergerac wine and Rocamadour cheese in the Lion d”or restaurant, excellent value considering you are in a UNESCO historical site. Walk up to the citadel passing statues of the 12 stations of the cross. Wonderful setting in deep lush ravine with fabulous views at every turn. The Logis Belvédère hotel was ideal and perfect for travelling with our dog.
Rocamadour is definitely worth visiting. It has something for everybody: Monuments, views, handcraft, gastronomy, history, bike and hike routes, campings nearby... And the sounds of Cortazar's Rayuela resonating.
We wish we could have had more time to explore the town and surrounding areas. It's a stunning place with a lot of history. L'Hospitalet is a great place to have a stroll, visit the shops and eat.
Amazing place, incredible history but not a lot of signs in English. This is an internationally known site, there we’re some English translations on some of the monuments but not enough on the history of the place or recommendations of were or how to structure your visit.
We ate at the Les Jardins de la Louve in Rocamadour. Lovely outside eating area with great views, friendly staff, good selection of food for all tastes. The traditional French food was delicious as was the pizza. We stooped en route to Rocamadour for a picnic at Moulin Fortifie du Cougnguet. This cost 6 euros to enter and for that we had a guided tour of a working traditional flour giving mill. The owner also let us try a sample of eaux de vie into which you dip sugar lumps and suck them and some local walnuts. We were then allowed to have our picnic by a river and waterfall with dozens of butterflies. A really beautiful location. Well worth a stop to catch your breath and escape the busy world. We visited Grottes de Lacave where you go underground on a train into an amazing cave with a guided tour that lasts 1.5 hours to 2 hours. Well worth a visit and very well organised. We also went to Gouffre de Padirac. The whole experience is wonderful from going into the huge gouffre by stairs or lift and then a walking decent into the cave where you are then taken by boat to the main cave. This is a self-guided tour so you can take as long as you want to go round the walk. The Cave itself is amazing and so vast. The staff are very friendly too.I would avoid the holiday season to visit this cave though. The town of Rocamadour is beautiful. Restaurants, shops etc are a little expensive as is usual in an area like this. The views are magnificent and the circular walk to the top and round to the view points is well worth the effort.
Staying in the Medieval part of the city was extra special. During the day, it was pretty busy, with bus loads of tourists being poured out into the tiny streets. But at night, it was entirely deserted and had a very different feel.
Great little hotel to enjoy Rocamadour. Halfway between the Citadel and Hospitalet, with great views in both directions and quite location to enjoy the valley. Simply but elegantly decorated. The space in the room is distributed smartly, with a long but narrow desk by the window, in case you need to work on your computer while enjoying the views, and a large comfy bed. I was there in the off-season (mid-october, on a night from Friday to Saturday), so the room was at a rather affordable price for the value. Breakfast was good.
Possibly the best balcony in the whole of Rocamadour! We woke up to a hot air balloon drifting past. Unbelievable location right in the heart of the medieval cité. I'm not sure I've ever stayed in a hotel so beautifully located. The hostess was very welcoming and the check in/check out times are extremely generous. It was a very hot day and a fan had already been provided in our room. We had a wonderful stay and we can't recommend the hotel highly enough.
There were so many options at breakfast, I regret I could not eat more as I was really fancying the pancakes. The view from the breakfast room into the gardens was lovely. The hotel was clean and the room was much bigger than I expected for the price, the bathroom was a really good size, and the shower was massive. The staff at the reception were very friendly and spoke multiple languages. We will definitely stay there again, it's such a bargain.
Rocamadour
James makes you feel welcome from the time the door is opened. The property is located nearby to Rocamadour so makes it an ideal location. The peace and quiet was amazing, the breakfast good with James' walnut spread and cookies and the coffee superb. James' recommendation for a local restaurant was also wonderful. We like to stay at places where we feel at home immediately and La Noyeraie Rocamadour filled the bill exactly.
Gorgeous location and pool and room and main building. Lovely helpful friendly staff. Helpful with recommendations re restaurants and getting us a reservation. Couldn’t have been a better stay. They even told us about a sky balloon race the morning we left so we could see the balloons rise above the spectacular cliffs of Rocamadour.

Location of the hotel is great, good view on Rocamadour. Staff is friendly and helpful, makes you feel welcome. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. No airconditioning, but with closed shutters it's still pleasant. The restaurant of the hotel is very good, defenitely try that one.
Rocamadour
What an amazing place to stay! We loved the location and were thrilled to walk the paths of Rocamadour in the evening hours to enjoy the peace and beauty of the gardens and views. The breakfast every morning was presented beautifully and was delicious!
Great location in the middle of Rocamadour. That means parking is a little tricky but the hotel staff is really helpful and they will assist in finding somewhere to park your car. It's really clean and breakfast is available on site.
the room is super clean, the host is very kind and helpful. the location is very close to restaurants, cafe, and souvenir shops. the hotel provide free parking which is very good.
