Located close to Rocamadour, this 17th-century mansion is set in a large, peaceful park and features panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. If you are considering about staying at this hotel, DO IT!!!!! It was such an amazing experience and if I had chance, I would give 100 points instead of just 10! The location, the hotel room, the pool, the personnel, ... everything was just like a dream for us and we are so happy that we booked this hotel for 2 nights (we even considered about extending our stay there, but unfortunately it was booked out then). In addition to the pool which has a great view, you can order cocktails (with and without alcohl) which the owner of the hotel prepares with a lot of love :) The breakfast is full of local healthy products, which we could enjoy outside with the view.

Hotel in Rocamadour
This 2-star hotel is located at the highest point of Rocamadour, 164 feet from a viewpoint offering views of the medieval city. We were up above the city with a great view of it lit up at night. We walked down in to the old city but took the ascenseurs back up to our hotel level after visiting. Much easier to park where our hotel was located than at the old city. Wonderful breakfast and front desk folks were very helpful. They gave us directions for an organinc ice creamery in the country just 2 km away. It was worth the short drive! The room was very clean!

Amazing place, incredible history but not a lot of signs in English. This is an internationally known site, there we’re some English translations on some of the monuments but not enough on the history of the place or recommendations of were or how to structure your visit.
We ate at the Les Jardins de la Louve in Rocamadour. Lovely outside eating area with great views, friendly staff, good selection of food for all tastes. The traditional French food was delicious as was the pizza. We stooped en route to Rocamadour for a picnic at Moulin Fortifie du Cougnguet. This cost 6 euros to enter and for that we had a guided tour of a working traditional flour giving mill. The owner also let us try a sample of eaux de vie into which you dip sugar lumps and suck them and some local walnuts. We were then allowed to have our picnic by a river and waterfall with dozens of butterflies. A really beautiful location. Well worth a stop to catch your breath and escape the busy world. We visited Grottes de Lacave where you go underground on a train into an amazing cave with a guided tour that lasts 1.5 hours to 2 hours. Well worth a visit and very well organised. We also went to Gouffre de Padirac. The whole experience is wonderful from going into the huge gouffre by stairs or lift and then a walking decent into the cave where you are then taken by boat to the main cave. This is a self-guided tour so you can take as long as you want to go round the walk. The Cave itself is amazing and so vast. The staff are very friendly too.I would avoid the holiday season to visit this cave though. The town of Rocamadour is beautiful. Restaurants, shops etc are a little expensive as is usual in an area like this. The views are magnificent and the circular walk to the top and round to the view points is well worth the effort.
Staying in the Medieval part of the city was extra special. During the day, it was pretty busy, with bus loads of tourists being poured out into the tiny streets. But at night, it was entirely deserted and had a very different feel.
Frighteningly beautiful but our Band B was ideally situated for both walking and using the lifts up to the château and down to the town itself. Couldn't have been better places and our host was very kind. Parking was easy but finding the place proved a little more difficult - not the fault of the host but of our GPS ! Once there, no problems at all!
Really picturesque. The lift up and down the hill is a rip off. The lifts close at 18h00 but the restaurants dont open until 19h00. Be prepared to walk. Car parking at the bottom is not good. Well worth the visit though if you take that into account.
its a bit touristy during the high season but nice otherwise. great for walks and also has a lift for those less able. the views are fabulous well worth the climbing or the stair of the cross. You are supposed to do it on your knees.... but the churches carved out of the rock are vey special.
Possibly the best balcony in the whole of Rocamadour! We woke up to a hot air balloon drifting past. Unbelievable location right in the heart of the medieval cité. I'm not sure I've ever stayed in a hotel so beautifully located. The hostess was very welcoming and the check in/check out times are extremely generous. It was a very hot day and a fan had already been provided in our room. We had a wonderful stay and we can't recommend the hotel highly enough.
The room was wonderful and great for our puppy. The staff are very welcoming and very helpful. We also had dinner one night at the restaurant and it was great! In the mornings we had coffee from the bar before venturing out. The pool was a great relief during the heatwave as well! If you have a pet there is space just out front of the hotel to walk them. It is a really nice walk into Rocamadour and there are some routes the staff can suggest!
This inn is a couple of miles outside the village of Rocamadour. It is in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed an evening walk and went past a large farm with grazing sheep and goats. The rooms are a bit small, but clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and recommend it.
the room is super clean, the host is very kind and helpful. the location is very close to restaurants, cafe, and souvenir shops. the hotel provide free parking which is very good.
Friendly staff, clean room, nice bed, located in probably the best place to be in a Rocamadour. Lots of parking available and close to the stairs or lift. Pool and AC available.
