Saint Brieuc is a lovely town in this part of Brittany.
Saint Brieuc is a lovely town in this part of Brittany. It's big enough to have a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. Hotels too. Yet, it's small enough you can get out of it into the lovely Breton countryside easily enough. Not overtly touristic, but there are plenty of nice places around to visit and cycle to. A walk down to Le Legue through the Parc de la Vallée de Gouédic was a lovely start to the day. Within a short drive you can get to Binic and Paimpol, or the other direction to the magnificent beaches at Val Andre.Guest review byRobbo83France - 8.0

My visit to St Brieuc was to attend a football tournament in Ploufragen. Having visited prior to covid I was aware of the town hence return visit. As a non driver I am happy to walk into old town and down to harbour. Beds were very comfy and extra pillows were provided. It was warm the first night until the ever helpful staff showed us how to switch the aircon on :-) The room was a good size with excellent shower with regard to size and water pressure. Breakfast was wonderful with a good selection of fresh produce which was topped up regularly. Car parking in the courtyard at 5eur a night was very useful.Guest review byrobFrance
