Beautiful and special place, friendly staff and good breakfast. Everything is maintained very clean and I loved the design of the room, as well as the whole chateau. We loved the location so we will be coming back again in May.

We liked everything! The location is idyllic. The place is a restoration of love, with original features and a modern twist. The host was super helpful, friendly and accommodating; he was just a perfect host. The shower is great and the bed is super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious; the fig jam was out of this world! We stayed here on our way along the Avenue Verte and would recommend it to anyone doing the route.

The home is just gorgeous and we loved hearing about its history. The host was very entertaining -- he greeted us with great beer and conversation. We had a choice between a couple of rooms which was really nice. The decor is wonderful - modern, eclectic artistic in a classically-beautiful French home. Our room had a very comfortable bed and the bathroom was spacious and attractive with fabulous shampoo and toiletries. We appreciate that he does not utilize single-use plastics. The breakfast was AMAZING - French style eggs, fresh bread, pastries, juice and coffee. It was the best we had in France. I hope we get to come back to this fabulous region, and to this home, for a longer stay some day.

A wonderful piece of paradise in the countryside! This small place is a gem. It felt incredibly private. The hosts were warm and welcoming, but never intrusive. We had no car because we were attending a wedding celebration nearby, and relied on rides from family and taxis. Guests should consider that it is a secluded, out of the way location, and a rental car would be very useful. Because it is the countryside, there are no restaurants, bakeries ,or grocery stores within walking distance—that I am aware of. The hosts were very understanding when a taxi mix-up disturbed them at midnight.

Charming countryside property less than twenty minutes away from Giverny. Super sweet owner, received us personally. Breakfast was plenty and delicious, with items either prepared by her ou bought from local farms. In spite of the extreme simplicity of the room, my family elected this property’s beds and pillows the most comfortable of all the ones in our trip.

    The location is absolutely wonderful - the chateau is set in a huge estate of woods and lakes just above the Seine. It is idyllic. Our room was large and comfortable with fabulous views over the parkland (albeit up 68 stairs) and the restaurant attcahed to the hotel is truly excellent.     Picture prefect chateau. Staff made you very welcome and guided you to see things in the grounds that were really interesting. Room overlooking the grounds was fabulous. The restaurant was superb and the staff both professional and friendly. Location was ideal for us. We walked around the grounds - more guests should be encouraged to do so.
