Very picturesque town plenty of bars and restaurants. Easy to walk around. Scenic riverside walk. If you are feeling energetic enough you can attempt the steep walk to the top of the old part of Saint-Flour (we made it halfway up could not complete the walk as we had a restaurant booked. Parking was free on the road outside the hotel. The hotel bar is lovely and the staff welcoming and helpful. In fact, the staff during our visit went out of their way to give advice and help.
