In Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, the resort of Saint Laurent du Var is situated between the sea and hills, halfway between Cannes and Monaco. The location is amazing. Cross the street in front of Terminal 1 at the airport and hop the Cannes 200 bus for 1.5 euro you pay to the driver, then get off at the 4th stop Les Vespins stop and you are almost at the resort. Take a picture of the sky pool shot and reference the location against the large building with the painted whales as a guide. You can walk from the airport to the resort in 30 minutes but you can't hear the planes because they land and depart over the sea. Don't take a taxi--so expensive!! Loved the huge glass door and the balcony. Very quiet but close to all of the fun and so many amazing and charming restaurants. I will definitely return. The beach was wonderful. So was the swimming. People were feeding a family of swans on the beach. Magical. All of the sights, beaches and promenades of Nice is a short bus ride or bicycle ride away.
