We had the most wonderful group family vacation at this beautiful mansion-like home in the Dordogne. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the charm of the property and its breathtaking, picturesque surroundings. The house was spacious, spotless, charmingly decorated, and well-equipped, featuring a fantastic kitchen that made cooking together a real pleasure. One of our favorite features was the private balcony, perfect for evening barbecues while taking in the peaceful views. The swimming pool was pristine and refreshing. The location was ideal, with several beautiful towns nearby to explore. We loved visiting local markets and community events that gave us a real taste of the region's culture and charm. A huge thank you to Lizzy, the owner, who was always available, friendly, and full of helpful local advice. Her lovely dogs greeted us every day, which our daughter absolutely adored—they added an extra special touch to our stay. One thing worth noting: the property has its own website, www.lemanoir.org, which includes much more information and helpful resources about the home and the area. It would have been great to know about it ahead of time, as it’s not mentioned on booking.com. Future guests may find it especially useful when planning their stay. In all, it was an unforgettable holiday in a stunning part of France, and a place we would absolutely love to return to. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for a peaceful yet enriching escape in the Dordogne.

The hosts Laurence and Damien do everything they can to take wonderful care of you and make your stay perfect. Damien is a fabulous chef and the meal we enjoyed with them was the favorite of our vacation. They made personalized suggestions for sightseeing and made us feel cared for and at home. The countryside property is exquisite. Our room had a stocked kitchenette, great shower, and comfortable bed.

    The small village is in a beautiful location with many...

    The small village is in a beautiful location with many walking trails to admire the bucolic countryside. Best place to eat is at the Les Cèdres Inn and enjoy Sam’s delicious Lebanese dishes. My favorite spot was sitting outside on the terrace overlooking the little church right in front and listening to the ringing of the bell.
