Lavinia was such a welcoming and lovely host. The hotel was charming, the room was lovely. We loved sitting by the pool after a busy day. Breakfast was delightful!

Genuine feel of an old market town in centre but accessible with modern facilities aurrounding, Abundance of restaurants, cafes & bars, and all we experienced were varying degrees of great to fantastic. Market day is fun and busy. Once aquainted with the narrow lanes, one way streets and no entries (as like all towns in area) relatively easy to navigate and drive. You really need a hire car to explore the surrounding area.

We have been going to Saint Remy for an event at Valetudo...
We have been going to Saint Remy for an event at Valetudo and we have become fond of the town and the Alpilles. We ate in different restaurants, there is a wide range of different places for every mood and means. There are many other towns that one must see for a day trip - Saint Remy is a good base as the town is not too big or too small and for us it is always good to go back there.

Transport from TGV in Avignon very costly.
Transport from TGV in Avignon very costly. There was no advice at THV rail station that the traveller needed to travel to the old town of Avignon to catch a regular bus service to St Remy de Provence. This needs to be publicised, otherwise you must travel by taxi which can cost EU 70 per journey compared to EU5 by a bus from Avignon. This property a Nd airb& b have a responsibility to publicise this. Not everyone will arrive by their own car. PLEASE FIX THIS

Cozy, central town in the middle of Provence.
Cozy, central town in the middle of Provence. Walkable attractions such as bars, restaurants, markets and museums. Also - quick drives through tree lined country side or through the mountains to other scenic regions. We ate at Fanny Rey at the hotel. Michelin Stared and one of the best I've had. Other places in town provided great breakfasts and lunches for overall enjoyment and preparations for the day!

Very close knit tourist area in center of town...lots of restaurants...for a nice splurge try the Le Remy in the hotel of same name..self laundry in center of tourist area. Good access to most of Provence. We were there for weekend fete with "running of the bulls"...not very spectacular... but the parade of local folks from all walks of life was lovely

Hotel du Soleil is in the heart of St. Remy which is a wonderful provincial town and a good base from which to explore the south of France. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just a little less than gratifying but I think they did their best in Covid times.
