This is a very pretty place, right by the river.
This is a very pretty place, right by the river. There are numerous restaurants and some lovely little shops. Many of the streets are very attractive, with wonderful buildings and fauna and flora to admire. There is a long promenade for easy walking and a beach and park at one end, suitable for families. Lovely location, great facilities in tranquil setting. Bar and restaurant good with friendly helpful staff. Pleasant large rooms and comfortable beds. Lots to do, swimming pool, table tennis, tennis, bike hire and walks to the beach. Pleasant well kept gardens and grounds. It’s a disaster if you need WiFi. Almost impossible to log in. A wonderful historical town, which balances its superb location with all the trappings of a popular tourist destination. With everything from Michelin restaurants to unpretentious bistros, you will eat well here.
