This château and vineyard is set on the site of a 12th century monastery in Lignan-de-Bordeaux. It features free Wi-Fi, a large garden and elegantly decorated guest rooms with views of the landscape. Amazing location with attentive staff and stunning features.
Located in Lignan-de-Bordeaux in the Aquitaine region, Chambres d'hôtes du Château de Seguin provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. We stayed here for for 1 night on a stopover before our flight home to the UK. The property is situated in a working vineyard and is the most stunning location. The grounds and views are fabulous. Rooms are modern, comfortable and very clean. We were leaving very early and the staff arranged for a early 6.45am breakfast for us. Was a great little stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
Only available room was "disabled" with large wet room. However, room facilities very poor. No shelf or table for toiletries except floor. Hanging rail too low to hang jacket or shirt, no drawer space. SMALL double bed and only one bedside light. Hotel staff not customer friendly. Restaurant (not attached to hotel) was very good. Recommend for eating not staying
Great location! Relaxing and beautiful in the vineyard , the staff was very professionnal , the highlight is the restaurant , warm and cozy , design is very cool ! Also great menu , the food was superbly presented ,and tasty , I definetly recommend the " foie gras" and very very good! Selection of the wine list adequate to the region , you can find some great wines at affordable price , it is so rare now anywhere. Kudos to the chef , merci Natasha , and Adrien . The only disappointment for us was that the room was little bit too small, however we had a chance to visit some rooms bigger on the second floor , and we definetly next time reserve these rooms
Come by car! It's a bit far out but worth being far out as the views are amazing! Not much choice for food (if you're veg/ have special dietary requirements) but the chief is happy to cater for. Breakfast was a little expensive -10 euros for bread, cheese, croissants and cereal (no eggs etc). Although there wasn't much choice for food, the chief did well for dinner. We had an unlimited choice of wine with our dinner which was lovely! A recommended stay for a relaxing getaway!
