In the late summer evenings the lighting is spectacular for photos ! We will be back, especially for the Christmas season where this city comes alive.

Strasbourg is a great city to visit.
Strasbourg is a great city to visit. First impressions of a fairy tale village! Lots of interesting buildings, beautiful waterways and so easy to walk around. Loved this city - it felt so different to other French towns. Lots of fabulous cafes and restaurants to try. The park with the storks was very special. Highly recommend Strasbourg especially when you can walk across the river to Germany! Plus other beautiful French villages accessible by very frequent trains.

Pretty dull.
Pretty dull. Not surprised the EU parliament hates making the trip. Culturally, it cannot make up its mind if it's French or German or other. Kind of schizophrenic. Downtown was touristy as one would expect. The side streets were a bit better, but even the locals sems to regret having to live there. Would I visit again? Yes, if I had business. Otherwise, there is a hundred better cities I can think of. The standard Alsace rainy weather did not help.

Lovely town, beautiful cathedral and museums (Alsace Museum...
Lovely town, beautiful cathedral and museums (Alsace Museum and Rohan Museum are a must). But there is also the St. Pierre Le Jeune Church and St. Paul Church. Both worth visiting.
Strasbourg is more than the city center and the museums; it has different neighborhoods so take the time to visit them all.
Lots of tourists so get out early if you don't like masses. The whole town is walkable, no need to take a bus/tram.
Grande Rue is the main shopping street, but do go into the side streets as there are lovely little shops.
3 days is enough to discover Strasbourg, Colmar and the surroundings, all accessible by train.
Location, location, LOCATION. Fabulous location - short walk to Petit France tourist area and hotel surrounded by bars and restaurants. Easy walk to Cathedrale. I would stay again based on this. Easy walk from train station.
Rooms were standard Ibis. Small and very little shelf or wardrobe space but adequate for 1 person. It was expensive for what it was but Strasbourg is expensive and staying at Kehl or Port du Rhin is almost same price and very boring (have tried that before) Just pay the money. You will be glad you did.
Hotel was located within easy walking distance (about 15 minutes) along the river to Petite France & city centre of Strasbourg. Room was comfortable, if a bit small (as expected), & included a kettle. Parking was free and onsite (though there were insufficient onsite parking spots for all the guests). Price was very reasonable. The window opened.
Located in closest proximity to Gare de Strasbourg. Ideal for overnight stay when taking an early TGV to Paris Gare de l‘Est arriving there well before 9am. Restaurants and Strasbourg city center (Cathedral, la Petite France etc.) in walking distance.
The location was great - an easy flat 20 minutes cycle ride into Strasbourg centre petite France. The air conditioning was great in the 41 degrees heat that we had. It was clean and everything functional.
