This is a charming B&B a short drive to Montbron centre. The facilities are fantastic, including the room, the breakfast, the pool, and the grounds. The hosts were so helpful! We spent a week there, visiting family in a nearby commune.

The stay is basically a garage apartment. The ceilings are low, there is little natural light in the bedroom, because there is only a large window at the front entrance. Everything is provided and clean. The facility shows some use but is well-kept. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, there were three dogs, some of which tried to enter the apartment but left by command. The location is right outside of town. There is a pretty village close-by for an evening stroll. There is also a covered pool: very convenient in the hot summer.

Sandra and Vincent are super hosts who made our stay very convenient. The house is well-maintained, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything one might need, even the little details have been taken care of. The large outdoor area along with the nice pool and friendly animals, makes this place especially enjoyable for kids and families. We were also really impressed by the measures adopted to conserve nature, such as the extensive use of solar lights and rainwater harvesting for the plants. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely love to come back!

Very friendly hosts. Also speak English. Pet friendly. Near Verteuil-sur-Charente, a charming village with nice restaurants. Near canoe rentals, awesome for families. (Take the long option and picnic on the way!) Breakfast was fine but continental will never match English breakfast ;)
