Totally unique, with antique furnitures but with all modern equipment you can imagine. Its better than on pictures. Every detail of decoration has its place, VERY clean, crispy white bedsheets, huge room. Views from the castle terrace and windows are breathtaking. Castle is often used for weddings, but even for a casual stay you have a feeling like celebrating something important. Breakfast is 11 out of 10, its best breakfast I have ever had in France. Owners are the top of hospitality (due to flight delay we arrived in the middle of the night - owners still welcomed with a big smile) and in general very pleasant.

The facilities are extremely clean, everything is new, comfortable and looks very beautiful. The hosts have a great taste. The breakfast is served with local goods (a privilege to have nowadays), and the host Violette is a very fun and interesting lady! Totally recommend this place!

Beautiful property, stunning views, very well equipped property/kitchen and a great location (we enjoyed the peace and quiet) The hosts were extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly, they helped us with restaurant recommendations and local area knowledge, we hired SUP's from them for the day at half of the price than the local lake. Really recommend a stay it's a beautiful Gite

    Very quiet and charming french countryside.

    Very quiet and charming french countryside. We visited the lovely (but very busy) Annecy (petite Venice) which is 1/2 hour drive away. Very worth seeing...get there early in the morning as parking is a challenge. Annecy old town is beautiful (park at the Annecy castle which shares a parking garage with the hospital - medieval old town is right there) the food market in old town is absolutely amazing, and walking around the town is like being in a fairytale. The lake is stunning as well, there is a huge park there...but by noon- when we were leaving...it was a madhouse of people , shoulder to shoulder at the market area and nowhere to park.) We were here in August, I'm sure the fall is less busy There is another Lake nearby Vallieres with nice little villages. It is a beautiful drive all around the lake and stop where you want. Cute little villages to eat and shop and areas to swim. You must have a car, there is not the big city transport system of trains/buses and trams here. It is away from the crowds and tourists and it's wonderful!
