Set in Vaujany, Appart’hôtel Chalet La Fedora - Appartements de charme has well-equipped accommodations boasting free WiFi, a 2-minute walk from Vaujany-Villette Ski Elevator and an 8-minute walk from... Heaven on earth. This place is incredible. The chalet has everything you can possibly need to feel comfortable - fully equipped, kitchenware is quite impressive, great beds, cozy fireplace. The location is stunning, the views of the mountain are breath taking and the balconies are quite spacious. We were a family of 4 with small children and there's nothing missing really. The staff is so kind and service minded, Natalia even got us a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations. Vaujany is a wonderful small ski village, true beauty of the mountains and a privilege to visit.
Located in Vaujany in the Rhône-Alpes region, Vacancéole - Les Hauts de la Drayre has accommodations with free WiFi. Hotel staff were very friendly. Lovely mountain views from the living room. The appartment was warm and the bed was comfortable. This appartment offers a functional stay. It is well placed for the shops and not far to the escalators down to the gondolas.
Located 328 feet from Vaujany-Villette Ski Elevator, Le Perce Neige offers pet-friendly accommodations in Vaujany. The property is 12 minutes away via ski elevator from the Alpes d’Huez Ski Resort. Lovely, quiet location. Easy walking access to Vaujany, which had a variety shops, restaurants, bars etc. Easy access to ski slopes. The accommodation had plenty of space and was both clean and comfortable. It was also lovely and warm with ample hot water for showering after a long day skiing. There was also a very nice outdoor sun terrace, which was covered - Good for removing skis and boots when snowing. We also enjoyed the evening sun when the skies were clear. Plenty of storage for ski gear.
the resort is probably good only in the ski season, in the off-season there is no open food store and no cable car/ teleferic or no-open functional entertainment facilities . If you want to enjoy nature, hiking and isolation is good
Cute little place surounded with beautiful mountains and waterfalls. Vaujany has all things you need, from shops and pool to ice rink, cinema and restaurants. Parts of the town are conected by escalator. People are nice and freandly
Great winter resort for families. Modern infrastructure and impressive facilities in a welcoming village atmosphere. Small but with something for nearly everyone. Ideal for families or those who don't need wild nightlife!
Vaujany is great , lots going on the tourist information centre , was very helpful spoke English and suggested great places to watch the Tour de France . Fantastic area for cyclist .steifs was great for food and beer and the bakery for breakfast ! The cable cars run all year with easy access to Alpe d’huez . Having been 3 times in the summer Saving up to return to see the snow and the change in the landscape .
We were very lucky with the weather. Vaujany is a beautiful little village with lots of clean air and amazing scenery. We absolutely loved it. The view of the mountains is incredible. It is fairly easy to connect to the Alpe D'Huez as there is a gondola working between 9.00-16.50. There is a nice pizzeria called la mi do re and couple other small restaurants. So you wont starve. :) The spa and the pool of the village is greay for relaxing after a long day of skiing. There is a supermarket where you can shop for the essentials at the higher part after taking the electric stairs.
Nice, cozy village. Especially good for families as it is quiet, but has everything you need - a grocery, a choice of ski rentals and a couple of restaurants and bars. No nightlife, but that's not what we came for.

Our stay at La Maitreya was really great! The location is beautiful, the rooms are perfect sized and James and Whitney were great hosts! There are hotels and apartments that treat you well and be kind for you but La Maitreya gives you more than just hospitality, it's the next level of hostmanship! Also they will recommend all kinds of places were you can eat, but honestly, the best dinner you will have in this area is at La Maitreya!!
The hosts answered all our queries before arrival and let us get on with our holiday with no interference when we stayed. The apartment was large based on previous rentals in Vaujany and alpe d'huez. The alert net was very clean and quiet and comfortable with excellent kitchen facilities and even a fresh packet of filter coffee waiting for us, we loved it and hope to return.
The staff is very helpful and tried her best to resolve our problems. The residence is close to commerical and sport facilites, with great landscape (not only the fall, but also you can see milkway from the terrasse in summer night). You can park the car under the residence, or by the residence, in fact you don't need it during the stay.
Absolutely amazing hosts. The apartment is great, clean, brand new, very close to the ski lifts and close to all amenities in Vaujany town. Thank you Nadine & Sylvain for the wonderful hospitality and we will definitely visit again. We highly recommend a stay for a family of up to 6 people.
Love the apartments (they have great taste, all the necessary appliances and even provide basic stuff like soap, olive oil), staff was incredibly kind, hotel is gorgeous with breathtaking views! It has everything to facilitate an amazing holiday
Inside was clean, beds quite comfy, property was warm. Vaujany itself was fantastic.
Everything in our apartment (Chamois /) Fedora) was perfect: space, facilities, decoration, high quality furniture... Even the little wood had been prepared in the fireplace to allow us to start the fire right away... Parkings covered right in front. For skiing, Vaujany is certainly a little cashed but access to ' Alpe is easy and the return by the Fare track is very interesting! Run down from the Dome of the Rousses (2800) to Vaujany (1250) if it is snowy enough, as these days!
L ' location of the residence. The comfort and size of the apartments. L ' housing amenities. The view and the sun. L ' kindness of the reception staff. Thanks to Tony for making us so comfortable. We will definitely be back!!!
We were looking for a cozy, bright and functional place... with a terrace and mountain views... well located geographically (ski lifts, shops)... calm... we were satisfied in every way!
Ideal location. Apartment well equipped in very good condition. We liked the raclette machine, game clubs... Vaujany is a good family destination. Thank you
