Set in Vaujany, Appart’hôtel Chalet La Fedora - Appartements de charme has well-equipped accommodations boasting free WiFi, a 2-minute walk from Vaujany-Villette Ski Elevator and an 8-minute walk from... Heaven on earth. This place is incredible. The chalet has everything you can possibly need to feel comfortable - fully equipped, kitchenware is quite impressive, great beds, cozy fireplace. The location is stunning, the views of the mountain are breath taking and the balconies are quite spacious. We were a family of 4 with small children and there's nothing missing really. The staff is so kind and service minded, Natalia even got us a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations. Vaujany is a wonderful small ski village, true beauty of the mountains and a privilege to visit.
This chalet is a 4-minute drive from Vaujany’s center, a characteristic village and ski resort in French Alps. Everything was perfect!! Big rooms, great views, spacious garden to relax, jacuzzi to relax in after walking. Wonderful dinner and breakfast and very caring staff / owners. We will be back 😄
Located in Vaujany, Chez Passoud offers bed and breakfast accommodations just 656 feet from the ski elevators. The chalet-style property features a terrace and free Wi-Fi throughout. The room was well equipped for a short stay, modern bathroom and sample of liquid soap (in case of a need). The view from the window was beautiful.
Chalet La Maitreya offers rooms with a balcony or views over the Valley leading to the slopes of Les Grandes Rousses, Alpe-D'Huez. It is located in Vaujany. Our stay at La Maitreya was really great! The location is beautiful, the rooms are perfect sized and James and Whitney were great hosts! There are hotels and apartments that treat you well and be kind for you but La Maitreya gives you more than just hospitality, it's the next level of hostmanship! Also they will recommend all kinds of places were you can eat, but honestly, the best dinner you will have in this area is at La Maitreya!!

Great winter resort for families. Modern infrastructure and impressive facilities in a welcoming village atmosphere. Small but with something for nearly everyone. Ideal for families or those who don't need wild nightlife!
Vaujany is great , lots going on the tourist information centre , was very helpful spoke English and suggested great places to watch the Tour de France . Fantastic area for cyclist .steifs was great for food and beer and the bakery for breakfast ! The cable cars run all year with easy access to Alpe d’huez . Having been 3 times in the summer Saving up to return to see the snow and the change in the landscape .
We were very lucky with the weather. Vaujany is a beautiful little village with lots of clean air and amazing scenery. We absolutely loved it. The view of the mountains is incredible. It is fairly easy to connect to the Alpe D'Huez as there is a gondola working between 9.00-16.50. There is a nice pizzeria called la mi do re and couple other small restaurants. So you wont starve. :) The spa and the pool of the village is greay for relaxing after a long day of skiing. There is a supermarket where you can shop for the essentials at the higher part after taking the electric stairs.
Nice, cozy village. Especially good for families as it is quiet, but has everything you need - a grocery, a choice of ski rentals and a couple of restaurants and bars. No nightlife, but that's not what we came for.
Quiet. Free parking. Big telepherique up the mountain and an easy black run back down at the end of the day makes it a better location for experienced skiers than Alpe D'Huez. Make sure you get a ski apartment near to the telepherique, or near to the escalator link up through the town.
