Situated in Villefranche-sur-Mer, 500 metres from Plage de la Darse, Le Vauban features air-conditioned accommodation and a garden. Really cute little hotel, room had a balcony overlooking the stunning bay, lovely to sit outside in the evening looking across and also in the morning to get the sun. The location for us was perfect as we arrived from Italy by train but wanted to travel on to Nice by bus the next day and the stop is very near the hotel. Was a last minute booking and very pleased we booked this hotel.

Located between Nice and Monaco, Hotel La Fiancée du Pirate overlooks the Villefranche Sur Mer bay and is opposite Saint Jean Cap Ferrat peninsula. It offers a panoramic sea view. The staff were fantastic. My friend forgot her glasses during a trip to Saint Tropez at a store and the store could not understand us in trying to get them shipped back. The gentleman at the front desk managed all conversations, had the glasses sent to him, and then sent them to my friend within 2 weeks of arriving back home. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Set less than 20 minutes from Monaco, this hotel offers friendly atmosphere and typical Provençal setting and overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and the old citadel. Great accommodation, perfectly located in walking distance to the old town and main beach. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, they even promoted us with a nicer room with a sea view when we decided to prolong our stay. Superior cleanliness. As for the breakfast, I would say it was a bit overpriced and mostly croissant based (as everywhere in France), so we preferred delicious coffee and a piece of typical French pastry in the Boulagerie just over the corner.
