The room was wonderful. We really loved that there was a balcony, and it was a large room for us because our dog travelled with us. We paid extra for breakfast, it was affordable and superb. We really liked the location because it was halfway our journey to the Mediterranean coast. Furthermore, it was near nature which makes it a tranquil location, our dog specifically loved that. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. Overall, the hotel was down to earth, family owned, with a human touch.

    Nice quiet location on the island in Rhine river, overlooking little lake. Walking distance to Breisach am Rhien with shops and restaurants. Also very good restaurant directly in the hotel. Excellent choice for turists, who want to cycle in Alsace or in Kaiserstuhl/Freibourg area. Good breakfast. Room with balcony, comfy beds.

    A quiet location, on an island, between the three branches of the Rhine and its canals and alongside a small nature reserve. Clean modern comfortable hotel, with on site parking, and with hard working welcoming and attentive staff. Rooms have balconies with rural river views. An easy drive to Colmar or back across into Germany. This hotel was an oasis of calm in what can be quite a hectic tourist hotspot - highly recommended for a short stay.

    excellent for a one night stop over when traveling north to south or south to north. it’s a nice quiet location on the Rhine island between the Rhine river and the Alsace canal - surrounded by nature, on the boarder between france and germany. very friendly personal and excellent dinner restaurant - we enjoyed the freshly made flammenkuchen.
