The room was excellent and very spacious. It appeared to have been recently renovated. Great bed and very good bathroom. The location is excellent. Right in the middle of town with plenty of places to eat breakfast and evening meals close by. The Medina, adjacent to Harley's, had a great menu for breakfast and other meals and opened early.

Breakfast was really good. Love the choice of continental and then being able to order a hot me. Coffee was the best we had in the UK> Awesome!
Our room was a generous size and we had the room at the top over looking the beach. Loved it. Could sit in those arm chairs half the day just watching the world go by. Bathroom also very good - loved the bath and the products.

Aberystwyth looks very tired and as a result a large number of buildings on the seafront have been converted into student accommodation, which does little to enhance the atmosphere on a seaside town.
The pier is also dominated by students, with the pounding beat of loud music and search lights until the early hours.
The funicular is a must, with great views from the top.
The castle ruins are also impressive.
There are some good place to eat and drink but you have to look for them.

The town seems a bit down in the mouth but still very pleasant…the combination of nice beaches and surrounding countryside is lovely. Above all, we found it quiet and peaceful.
The people we talked too were friendly and helpful.
It is easy to walk around the town.

Nice promenade with food outlets.
Nice promenade with food outlets. Most impressive war memorial I have ever seen in UK. Interesting castle mound and ruins.
All much helped by the glorious sunny weather we enjoyed. Decent selection of eateries available. Good looking old university buildings. Compact place, easy to get about on foot

It’s been many many years since my last visit to Aber & I didn’t know what to expect. I have absolutely loved my visit….the Glengower hotel was lovely, the shops in Aber were excellent (eg a fabulous haberdashery ‘Aberdashery’, a brilliant Art shop, Medinas cafe, the Bookshop, lots of other great shops. The people were lovely, welcoming & friendly. I Cant wait to go back & would like to stay much longer next visit.

The facilities at the hotel were excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Aberystwyth has a fabulous coastling for walking and boasts a variety of bars and restaurants for evening entertainment. Lots of places were dog friendly.
The downside would be the lack of 24 hour parking.

We booked a last minute mini break to Aberystwyth. Having never visited the location were looking for somewhere to stay overnight. We found the Four Seasons Hotel and booked it . On entering the venue a member of staff greeted us . She checked us in and showed us to our room . Our room was a double standard with an en suite . The room was furnished with some lovely pieces, it was very clean and comfortable. We loved the location and facilities so much that we booked in for another nights stay
The breakfast was a hot buffer which meant you could have as much as you liked. It would have been nice if they'd had a few more items, eg Black Pudding. Also fresh tomatoes instead of tinned. The location of the hotel was central to all facilites in Aberystwyth. Including the railway station which was handy as I travelled there by train. (Happy to report that the trains were on time both coming and going back!)
Great location! 1st room was over looking the sea!
Idyllic!
I was in Aberystwyth to visit an old friend who's just recently had a baby girl!
Worth the 6 hours journey to see them & experience some fresh air and sea walks!
I'd originally booked & made enquiries about this hotel over the phone with a lovely girl called Bo who was extremely helpful!
Hotel staff were excellent, especially with our terrible first night sleep due to the hard mattress. Staff changed it with no further problems. Room was very spacious.Easy access , no problems with parking. Room was quiet , even though other guests around.
Location was perfect, room 112 looked directly onto seafront and was 5 metres from the sea, parking was abundant and free. Hotel is 2 minutes walk to town centre
