Located in the heart of Aberystwyth near the waterfront, Harry's Hotel & Restaurant features an on-site bar and restaurant, and offers rooms with contemporary design and free WiFi access. Absolutely amazing staff, food is way above average and at a very reasonable price, located one street away from the train station, one street away from the beach, can't ask for more when you don't drive. Oh and every shop you could ever think of needing very close to the hotel itself, with the bonus of late opening times... I highly recommend to anyone.

Lovely quiet room with nice old-fashioned design and furniture, comfy beds, private bathroom with all fixtures needed (bathtub and hair-dryer much appreciated). The hotel is located across the street from the Pier (and its bars and restaurants) and the place is not too noisy in spite of the pub downstairs. Aberystwyth was a base for touring but would return to see more of it as looked really interesting and I enjoyed evening walks along the front, harbour and town centre. The railway was very good with excellent views from top-recomended
Aberystwyth is a lively student town with many interesting little shops. There are some good restaurants and plenty of coffee bars. It is quite "run down" in some areas of the town but there are some good walks and a very interesting museum. Unfortunately some areas are still not fully open due to Covid.
A good friendly town with lots of pubs. A little short on good restaurants after the closure if some in recent years due to the financial effects of Covid. This is really only a problem on the weekend. Plenty of good walks on the coastal path and excellent bus services both North to Machynlleth and south Cardigan or Carmarthen. Easy railway East and North.
The Town looks as though it’s having redevelopment and the parking is attroscious with lack of signage to public parking, so parking on the sea front can be be bit of a lottery! Not a huge amount to see but could be a good anchor point to see other places. Worth a weekend visit. Lots of walks and hills so maybe good for the more able bodied or keen walkers.
Aberystwyth seems to have everything a person needs. There’s the usual shops that most towns have and a good variety of restaurants, cafes and take-aways. The promenade is wide and it’s lovely to sit there while enjoying the local food and watch the sea come in. It’s suitable for wheelchairs and prams too. The coastal path is nearby, while in the opposite direction there’s the old university and the remains of a castle - I found both very interesting.
Aberystwyth fine it was "hotel" that was issue. Staff embarrassed to work there. Owner said get out if you dont like it. Couldn't afford to move as saved for this 4 nyt break from stressful family issues. This nearlt tipped me over edge. 71 & 75 year old retired nhs workers.
Aberystwyth
I was staying in Aberystwyth out of season and just after the Welsh lockdown had come to an end. Because there were so many other rooms available, I found when I arrived that the landlady had upgraded me to a double room with ensuite bathroom (and not the single room with shared bathroom I had paid for), without me asking. Also, the last time I stayed anywhere this cheaply, Tony Blair was Prime Minister. Nice comfy bed and the only sounds in the background were of people playing tennis, which I found strangely soothing.
Aberystwyth
Everyone was incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in the door to the the time we left. Nanteos Country House Hotel is nestled in a valley, surrounded by fields with grazing sheep and has an informal relaxed atmosphere with understated elegance. Perfect if your need of some rest and relaxation and perfectly situated for exploring the Cambrian Mountains and coastline, with Aberystwyth being just a mile away.
Aberystwyth
The basement apartment is in a great location. Spacious, 2 bathrooms, big kitchen friendly and efficient staff. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Close to seafront (but no view) and town. Outside sitting yard/ area a bonus but could be improved. Access from car park as well as from the front of the hotel. Plenty of parking spaces as there are two car parks.
Very good location, helpful friendly staff, clean and tidy. Good sized rooms. Although hotel on a main road we were not too bothered by the noise of the traffic. The food was very nice and there was plenty of it. There is a McDonald’s on the doorstep if you want fast food and it’s only a 20 minute walk into Aberystwyth with a pub on the way!
Aberystwyth
Stayed for 2 nights at beginning of August 2021 booking two rooms. Both rooms were very spacious, extremely clean with great facilities. Breakfast service in room was great. Hope to visit Aberystwyth again and would definitely book this hotel as really enjoyed our stay and the hotel is in a great location. Would recommend to anyone.
Aberystwyth
We had one nights stay in a standard double room with a sea view. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was charged at £10pp and was very delicious. Parking was free and around the back of the hotel although is very limited so I would advise to get there early if hoping to park on the carpark.
The bed was huge and comfy and the sea view was fabulous, especially at sunset! The hotel was separated into different parts, the main part and smaller annexes. We loved it. Breakfast was served in the ballroom and was included in the price. We will definitely revisit next time we are in Aberystwyth.
Aberystwyth
Very spacious, modern and clean. Balcony with partial view of Aberystwyth and the sea. For four adults the two bathrooms (one en suite) was perfect. Location was perfect for walk into town or to the front - both with great choice of bars and restaurants. Definitely will recommend.
The Starling Cloud is now our 'go to' place to stay when visiting my son in Aberystwyth. Reasonably priced, comfortable and quiet, an ideal location with parking (which is always a bonus in Aber) and lovely breakfasts available if required.
Aberystwyth
Its now my go to hotel for a trip to Aberystwyth, now on my 5th stay at the Glen. Location right on the seafront. Large and very comfy rooms. Good waking up to the sounds of the sea.
This hotel had a lot of negative reviews but have to be honest I found the hotel in good shape clean tidy with a two minute walk to the front No issues with parking either
The Pier Hotel is a lovely place to stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and cared for and the location is amazing.
Free parking at the back of the hotel, early check in time, room clean and bathroom clean. Nice fluffy towels in the room too.

Aberystwyth
Location on sea front. Only guest house or hotel that I could find on the seafront that allowed dogs.
Great location on the seafront. Easy parking in town or on the front. Breakfast was great.
Aberystwyth
The location is excellent, just minutes from the train station, town centre and the sea front is just on the corner. The value for money is excellent, staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Cleanliness if first rate, the water in the shower is piping hot, towels are fluffy and snow white and the bed is so comfortable. There is a laundry option and there was tea/coffee making facility in my room. My room was warm and spacious and I would book again without a second's hesitation.
the location was amazing. very peaceful. perfect for a romantic night or 2. booked this for my partners birthday back in March 2021, however, been cancelled twice due to Covid. was well worth the wait! we are looking to stay for a night over Christmas and also will deffo be returning for 2+ nights in the summer.
Beautiful town and everyone I talked to was very nice. The hotel is right on the water so it was a delight when I took my morning walk. The breakfast was really good.
