Right in the middle of town with plenty of places to eat breakfast and evening meals close by. The Medina, adjacent to Harley's, had a great menu for breakfast and other meals and opened early.

It’s been many many years since my last visit to Aber & I didn’t know what to expect. I have absolutely loved my visit….the Glengower hotel was lovely, the shops in Aber were excellent (eg a fabulous haberdashery ‘Aberdashery’, a brilliant Art shop, Medinas cafe, the Bookshop, lots of other great shops. The people were lovely, welcoming & friendly. I Cant wait to go back & would like to stay much longer next visit.

The facilities at the hotel were excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Aberystwyth has a fabulous coastling for walking and boasts a variety of bars and restaurants for evening entertainment. Lots of places were dog friendly. The downside would be the lack of 24 hour parking.

Aberystwyth is a seaside and university town, situated on Cardigan Bay in Mid Wales . It is an attractive town with a pleasant level promenade with plenty of seating areas. I have lived in aberystwyth before but this helped me out when it came to the local area. if you like antique shops, pubs or cute craft shops then you're in luck, wear a jacket as it can be rather windy by the sea, and I'd reccomend going to the top of consti on the mountain railway. Pubs are easy to come by so no worries there. Honestly for food I just shopped at a local buthcers and used the kitchen to make some yummy dinners, mogans butchers and rob rattray do great stuff, morgans do a brilliant brekkie by the way, as for pubs I'd reccomend the bottle and barrel and for cafes there is the lovely Carys’s Angolino the owner is a mitchelin star chef and a lovely host. I could reccomend loads of bits in aber but I cant be bothered, so do some more research yourself and see what tickles your pickle And remember, did you even go to aberystwyth if you didnt walk by the beach or lighhouse?

Beach front accommodation with great views and relaxing environment. Good food, with some great local restaurants, cafe's and ice cream parlours ! Interesting and varied shops in the town centre and easily accessible by train and car. Plenty to see for those interested in history and arts, with the National Library and for those who like the outdoors, magnificent coastline and seashore. Summer sunset in Aber is something glorious to behold.

I stay in Aber regularly. I was a student in the 90s and I've stayed in many hotels & guest houses both on business and pleasure since. I now have to cater for elderly relatives and decided to try it out for a change. It was clean, quiet and comfortable with parking outside. The photos showed the shower room similar to a walk-in style rather than shower-over-bath in most places. Liked the idea of staying in bungalow-style accomodation over the usual hotel set-up.

Really good place to stay with breakfast food available as needed. Lovely big comfy bed and the hotel is perfectly placed to access everywhere in Aberystwyth. The complimentary drinks and biscuits were delicious and thank you so much for the complimentary bottle of wine. We loved sitting in the Juliet type balcony sipping this in the evening.
