The room was amazing and the bed was wonderful. The restaurant was also superb. With brilliant location for walks into the chilterns. Would return.

This hotel dates from the Tudor period, but the inside reflects the very best in modern design. It is featured in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral, as well as the TV show Midsomer Murders. Amersham is such a nice surprise. A Beautiful old town centre with many delicious restaurants to choose from. A perfect weekend getaway at The Kings Arms Hotel, so close to London.

Set in 30 acres of grounds in Chiltern’s countryside overlooking the Chess Valley, De Vere Latimer Estate boasts an indoor pool and sauna, 25 minutes’ drive from Heathrow Airport. We loved the little patio area. The breakfast and restaurant room was exceptional . Beautiful decor and setting. The breakfast was also wonderful and tasty. The staff were wonderful with my father in law who had COPD. One of the reception even gave him a oxygen and pulse monitor for the night. Extremely caring and considerate.

Really lovely room, the house has its own character so the room was also cozy, tea+coffee making option in the room, also got fresh cold water (or milk if wanted) in carafe offered. Really helpful and friendly hosts, flexible with the breakfast time and my friends who did not stay there, were also welcomed to have a breakfast there. The breakfast was really nice and I felt really welcomed there

The property was lovely and in an beautiful location the village was so pretty. The hotel was so clean, in beautiful grounds and with ideal walking paths nearby. The other great advantage, it was only 20 minutes on the train to central London from the local train station. The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The food was great. We had a wonderful weekend and we will definitely return again for another great weekend here.
