A charming, quiet little village on a pretty bay. Stunning views across the water to the Isles of Skye, Rhum, Eigg, Muck and Canna. A charming and lively local pub, serving drinks and food, plus a convenience store, a good cafe (Good Vibes) and a small restaurant, The Old Library, serving excellent food at a reasonable price.
Weather is important for making the most of this part of the world, basically because the coast here is the sort you want sun for. There's a fair bit to do, but perhaps a bit less in wet weather. We enjoyed the takeaway from the Old library, the boat trip to Inverie, the Glenfinnan viaduct walk, Camusdarach & Traigh beaches, the smoked salmon place at Glenuig, the village museum/visitor centre.
Arisaig is a beautiful village on the west coast of Scotland. with stunning scenery. beautiful beaches. and a relaxed way of life. there is lots to do in the area. From Cycling. Golfing. Boat Trips. Canoeing. Walking. Or you can enjoy one of the many Restaurants in the area. serving delicious fare. fresh from the sea. Visit the fishing port of Mallaig. just 10 minutes away. See the Hogwarts Express. Visit the Harry Potter shop in Hagrid Alley. Enjoy all the area has to offer. there is something for everyone.
The coast from Arisaig (arasaig) to Mallaig (Malaig) is one of the most beutiful in Scotland. Looking out to the Sma' Isles with white shell-sand beaches and crystal clear water. If the weather is right it is a playground of walks and boatingh trips and wild swilling.
A pretty village near Morar and Maillaig. We stopped at Glenfinnan on the way there and had a picnic no the silver sands of Morar There is a well stiocked Shop in the village and post office. There is an ATM. There was planty of activities on offer e.g boat trips and kayaking as well as lovely walks
This is the West Highlands to perfection; rocks and sea and heather. Quite a substantial proportion of the local residents are indigenous folk whose families have been there for countless generations. Most of the places to eat - cafes and restaurants - are shut over the winter. But the grocery is open seven days per week.

Amazing!! Greeted by the wonderful Eilidh who made me feel right at home. I booked a night here before heading up to Skye on a solo adventure, as a single woman staying on my own I felt very safe there and had a wonderful nights sleep..(the bedding is sooooo soft) I had everything I needed and felt that if I had have any problems it would be no bother to ask, but it was all perfect. All the little extras just added to an already beautiful accommodation. Would love to come again and stop longer to explore Arisaig more.

This is a wonderful hotel. The food is absolutely outstanding making great use of local fresh produce. David and Penny are fabulous hosts and the room we had was very well appointed with comfortable beds, excellent bath towels and a lovely outside seating area overlooking the gardens. A perfect location too. Eddie the waiter could not have been friendlier or given better service, really went the extra mile. We had a really wonderful time, would highly recommend

Had the most amazing few days in Arisaig. The property totally exceeded our expectations it was so lovely, it had everything we needed. The location was just perfect so peaceful what a beautiful place to relax and recharge. Added bonus for us it is pet friendly we brought our wee Lhasa Apso aswell. We absolutely loved it so much so we have rebooked for a weeks stay next year. Can't wait to return.

Breakfast was plentiful; CJ provided lots of lovely fruit and yoghurt with cereal as well as eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms as we had suggested. Our room was lovely and spacious, with a large bathroom off it. We were very happy with our choice. The location is quiet and a 20 minute walk approx. to Arisaig itself, so we could walk there in the evening to eat.
Arisaig
Well appointed wooden house close to beaches (though no local access) and convenient for Arisaig/Mallaig. Spotlessly clean, everything available you could need. Views across towards Skye were lovely. 'Star Wars' theming felt a little strange, though we grew to like it!
Arisaig
Lovely, spacious flat with a calming ambience. Views towards Eigg and Rum are amazing. Large garden . Very convenient base to explore Arisaig and surrounding area. Fiona and Michael were great hosts.

I would much rather be here than in a five-star hotel in Dubai or Venice or somewhere.
