An award-winning hotel located in Ayrshire, 5 minutes' drive from Prestwick International Airport and with easy links by rail and road to Glasgow and Edinburgh city centre. Clean and comfortable all you need
In the oldest part of town, just 2 minutes' walk from Ayr's sandy beach and the town centre, this charming, family-run hotel offers lovely rooms, tasty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi and parking. The location is lovely, easy to walk to restaurants etc but only a minute from the strand. And very quiet. Loads of parking right outside the door. The breakfast was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Featuring a garden, The Fox and Willow offers rooms in Ayr, 2.6 km from Ayr Racecourse and 3.1 km from Robert Burns Birthplace Museum. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. Perfect for me and close to everywhere I wanted to visit
A warm welcome awaits you at this privately owned 4-star hotel, a fully restored and refurbished Victorian mansion house situated on Ayr's seafront, recapturing the essence of country house... Very friendly staff" Excellent Bar and Restaurant. Very good parking. Close to seaside. We enjoyed our stay, dinner and breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to couples and also for someone who wants to celebrate. Good facilities for parties.
Boasting panoramic views over the Clyde to the Isle of Arran, and only 5-minutes’ walk from Ayr town centre, the hotel presents itself as the ideal base from which to explore the beauty of Ayrshire. The friendliest most helpful staff worldwide and from the moment I phoned I am returning in August.
Standing proudly within Ayr town centre, this hotel with free car parking and Wi-Fi is the place to stay whether on business or pleasure. The location was totally perfect. Truly! Right close to the train station. Lovely bar and restaurant associated with the place. Moneygram, if needed, is across the way. Shops of all kinds are just down the street. The people were outstanding! Very kind, thoughtful and hospitable. Clean room. Comfy bed. Quick WiFi. Even a trouser press in the room, if needed. I imagine, if you needed anything else, the staff would do their best to help.

Seaside setting and well know for connection with Robert Burns. Lots for tourists to do especially around Alloway and Burns Cottage. The town centre has gaps in the high street shopping like many others. Good beach when the sun shines!
Ayr in itself is not that interesting, but it IS an excellent base for exploring. It's a stone's throw from Alloway and Burns' birthplace; ten miles or so from the magnificent Culzean Castle - lots to see and do; and not far from Dumfries House - which is a must. You can also use it as a stop over on the way to Glasgow and Loch Lomand.
Beautiful part of Scotland, lovely clean beaches that just go on and on. Fab Old Lang Mile along the front, plenty benches to rest along the way if needed. Friendly people and lovely food from all cultures, spoiled for choice!
i liked going shopping got to know were all the shops were not a lot to dislike as i went for some me time and i liked it quite but i also knew that if i wanted to go some were i could go very easily . Now that i know were things are i would plan my next break a bit better as the things i was going to do i didnt do
Stay away from the restuarant McFarlane under cooked food and rude staff when they can’t take constructive criticism when complaining about food . Great beach , great location, great Wetherspoons has good food and good atmosphere.
Have a soft spot for Ayr. Been visiting at least twice a year for 32 years. Beautiful beach and coastal walk. Pleasant shopping areas. We have stayed in several hotels over the years - The Savoy, The Fairfield, The Horizon, The Kylestrom and of course our favourite because its so central and has a pool - The Mercure. Lots to do - Culzean Castle, Burns House, Brig o Doon and of course the amazing Electric Brae. Cant fault Ayr. Lost to do with children too.

The property was in a good area of the town centre and there were shops and restraunts next to the property. There was also free parking & free wifi. The staff were lovely at check in & check out. We were in room one the noise from outside was annoying but once i fell asleep i heard nothing so i cant comment on it. This hotel is outdated although the toilet was updated. Which was nice to see. The rooms were good value for what we payed & i would go back to the ayrshire & galloway for an overnight stay again.

This hotel is up there with the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It was immaculate, free water, tea and shortbread in the room on arrival and offered help with luggage to the room. A smart TV equipped with Netflix. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who is thinking of travelling to Ayr. It may not be the closest to the town centre but at most it's a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi journey.

Liz was a fantastic host, really appreciated the complimentary drinks on arrival. Inverlea is a delightful guesthouse in the old stately home area of Ayr. Excellent location, gorgeous bed and pillows, breakfast in a stunning morning room with full Scottish breakfast. The guesthouse is immaculate with excellent facilities and a very Scottish feel. Liz was really friendly and accommodating. Great venue.
Everything was perfect! Fantastic value for money! The owners were so friendly and very accommodating! The bed was super comfy! The room was beautifully decorated and immaculate! Perfectly located on a lovely quiet street near the beach and Ayr town centre. We absolutely fell in love with the place and are already planning our next stay! Thanks again :)

Marvellous all round. The rooms have all the privacy of a large anonymous hotel but also the benefits of being a privately run establishment. Lovely room with private car parking right outside, fabulous location, private parking, kind and considerate hospitality, beautiful breakfast and close to the town centre and beach.
