This is just a fabulous b and b. The host went above and beyond expectations and is super friendly. Very comfortable facilities and the breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. We would not hesitate to book again if the need arose and if I could give a higher score than 10 then I would.

The rooms are exceptionally clean, the bed was super comfy and the garden level room we were in was very quiet. The staff from check in to the pub/lounge and breakfast were superb. It is a very welcoming spot. This is the fourth time we have stayed in two years.

    I was attending an event at Shuttleworth and needed somewhere to stay overnight. Although The White House was ten miles away it was definitely worth the drive. The house was lovely in the middle of the countryside x so peaceful. The host couldn’t do enough for us made us so welcome. The bed was super comfortable x the facilities lovely x clean. The breakfast was fantastic everything you could want x more.

    We had a lovely room although there was evidence of dogs having stayed in the room. Perhaps Redwings should restrict animals to a limited number of rooms. The receptionist on arrival was fantastic. Friendly, cheerful and very helpful. There is a fabulous restaurant a few steps away with very good quality homecooked meals. The room was as expected. Clean, tidy and welcoming.

    Utilising the train will be to your advantage, especially if...

    Utilising the train will be to your advantage, especially if you don't drive/can't drive on your trip. There are no meals available, so it could get expensive, but; you do have access to a kitchen area for cooking. Taxis are basically non-existent in the town, so book in advance. Even Uber don't want to travel here for collection. Royston is less than 10 mins on the train, as is Baldock.

    We only stayed one night so we didn't get the chance to see...

    We only stayed one night so we didn't get the chance to see much. But for kids, totally recommend Standalone Farm. Children will love the actual farm animals. Also, Gravely fruit farm, where you can pick your own strawberries.

    Plenty of places to eat next door to the hotel. Big car park plus disabled spaces. Letchworth a nice place to visit.Super coffee shop that let's dogs enter,lovely coffee super food. Baldock a nice town.

    Baldock is a lovely town.

    Baldock is a lovely town. The days inn hotel isn't actually in baldock centre, it sits just off the A1 nearer to Letchworth. As its a service station there's a nice selection of fast food and a couple of shops for essentials

    The hotel room layout is good although getting dated but in good condition. Nice shower and a small but modern TV. Ample parking and retail food facilities next door. There are fascilities to make tea and coffee plus a desk and a chair with ample plug sockets.

    No hot water on the day of departure, so had to use the truckers showers in the Welcome break services; less than ideal. Some if the other hotels, have ben refurbed, so maybe this one is next on the list, hope so.

    The staff were lovely we went to the restaurant adjacent for breakfast and that was really good as the hotel cladded breakfast as toast ot cereal in the reception area as suitable we certainly don't think so
