Be aware the restaurants in Ballymena close by 9pm in the week, however they are open till 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Getting around is relatively easy with pubs, bars and restaurants concentrated close to the center of town. Ballymena - nice market town but Sunday its difficult to find anywhere open - especially before lunch o clock. Some nice wee bars and the food in the Grouse was quite nice. Staff also v friendly. It was such a lovely room. Mini Bar included was unreal as this was the first hotel that we have stayed in that the mini bar was included. The thermal Village was unreal. Very big with loads of different areas with pools etc. The Gillies restaurant for both breakfast and evening meal. We really enjoyed our back massage.
