Amazing breakfasts cooked by the wonderful hosts got me off to a fantastic start each morning. Free parking was a great addition for us. The hosts were very welcoming. I had to do remote work the day we checked out and they extended my check out as late as they could so I could work from my room but then generously let me l stay in their dining area to do work all day, no extra cost.

Good sized, simple room with shower/bath and all necessary extras. Charming, convenient, quiet location to break our journey on the way to the south coast. The added bonus was good ale in the pub and an excellent sharing platter of Greek deliciousness. Getting some fresh air with a walk through the village was also very pleasant. The Stags Head beats the chain hotels by miles.
