Located on the seafront at Bangor, Marine Court Hotel features an on-site restaurant and a bar, a fitness center and wellness facilities including an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub and a solarium. Our marina view room was lovely. This hotel is very central and it is lovely to walk around the sea front. The room was big with 2 dining chairs and a small table. We ate dinner and had breakfast. Both were very nice.
Just a 10 minute walk from Bangor Marina, where yachts line the Blue Flag dock, The Salty Dog offers an award-winning restaurant and boutique rooms in 2 Victorian townhouses. Perfect location overlooking the wonderful harbour. Very welcoming staff, great dinner and a perfect breakfast to sustain me on my journey home!

Located in Bangor, just a 9-minute walk from Bangor Marina, Sea Breeze provides accommodations with free WiFi. Everything about the apartment was great! From the initial contact and the effort being made to accommodate my travel plans. Upon arrival Mary was there to meet and greet with the added bonus of having homemade scones, plus jam and marmalade. The decor inside is really nicely done, with Mary's own paintings bringing a great wilds of Ireland to the place. The kitchen had everything you would want. The beds were super comfy. The place warms up really quickly with the central heating so would be super cosy on a chilly winters eve. The location is close to walks along the coast and a few minutes more into the shops if needed. All in the whole experience was perfect. Mary was even flexible with my departure as I had an exam that morning .Really great time and I'd love to come back again, minus the studying!!

Bangor is a busy coastal town with terrific views. The people are friendly and wanting you as a tourist to enjoy their town. This in itself was a bonus.I have visited other areas where tourists are frowned upon.I would visit Bangor again.
Beautiful coastline - town centre has some lovely coffee shops. It's the views that are the most amazing. Newest installations are great overlooking the bay - we discovered 3-4 artists in the new cubes. All very talented - wanted to buy paintings from them all! Plenty of great guest houses to stay in.
Bangor is a charming town with a gorgeous harbor and interesting history. The historical Jenny Watts Pub is wonderful with excellent home-cooked food and the best seafood chowder ever. The Salty Dog is an excellent bistro on the water with superb cuisine.
A great little city. I thought it was closer to Belfast than it was, though, so if you're planning on taking the train into the city, make sure you leave enough time. Bangor is walkable and cute, and made for a pleasant afternoon and evening walk. The harbor is especially nice. A great spot for dinner is Papa Joe's. The food is New Orleans-inspired, and the service is fantastic.
Charming coastal town with large selection of fun pubs and family friendly parks! Just a hop skip and jump to Belfast and the Moune coastal drive (stunning) without the high city prices! We tried to get into Salry Dog for Friday night dinner. But needed reservations. So we choose a neighborhood pub The Rabbit Room. Upstairs is a restaurant and downstairs the pub with menu choices. The mussels and cod were fantastic!! Others in our party ordered sausages. Lively and fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

The location was perfect. The poached eggs were perfect! Our hostess couple and staff were very warm and like good friends. The beds were comfortable (nice firm mattresses). The bathroom was plenty spacious, and the place was always immaculately clean. There were plenty of electrical sockets for all our appliances and lovely Bangor views from out of three windows (so plenty of light).

Shown straight to my room on arrival, having received a very cheery welcome, I was greeted by a large, airy and bright family room. It contained everything to make my short stay very enjoyable. Having had a great peaceful nights sleep, my breakfast set me up for the day - fantastic! Could not be faulted, and is definitely highly recommended.

Great value for the price. Decent breakfast for £6, cooked breakfast and cold options. The room was fine, some slight wear and tear but if you want better quality then book a more expensive hotel option.
