Snowdonia Stone Cottage is set in Beddgelert and offers a terrace. The accommodations is 25 mi from Barmouth. We absolutely loved the cottage and wished we could stay longer that the 2 nights we booked. Everything is so neat and in it's place. Emma the host goes beyond what is expected to make the stay even more memorable. The fire place does the trick for the winter days. Will definitely return!
Set in Beddgelert, Plas Tan y Graig B&B Guest House Beddgelert features a shared lounge, garden, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi throughout the property. The rooms are fitted with a patio. Our stay here was brilliant. The owners had adapted well to the Covid way of life and made out first trip away really comfortable. We had breakfast in bed which was fantastic and cooked to order, there is plenty of coffee and tea supply’s in the room too. The room was so comfortable and over looked the river which was a lovely sound to fall asleep too. It is a fantastic place to stay and we will 100% be back. Thanks for having us

Beddgelert itself, which I know well, was still recovering from a recent massive flood, so a number of ships and pubs were closed. The villagers were going their best get everything open again. Two large tourist shops , usually full of items of interest were affected. They must have lost a good deal of merchandise. The folk we met were all helpful and friendly.
Beddgelert is a lovely village with several nice pubs and cafes (some unfortunately shut while we were there due to a combination of Covid and a flood the previous week). There’s plenty to see direct from the village - Sygun copper mines, Dinas Emrys, Gelert’s grave are all walkable. It’s about half an hour drive from Llyn Idwal, Llanberis, Caernarfon, Criccieth, Harlech and various Snowdon starting points, and within an hour of almost everywhere else of note in the region.
Beautiful place, lovely places to eat and drink, fantastic views and walks, fantastic roads for motorcycles, loved visiting gelerts grave, brought back happy memorial from children holidays, and in awe of the mountains
Beddgelert village is small but pretty with all the facilities for drinking and eating. It's in an ideal place to go climbing up Snowdonia or visiting other attractions around the area. I would highly recommend staying in this village.
Absolutely stunning!,the village was beautiful and the walks in and around beddgelert were lovely, there are many different mountain walks you can do depending on how much you want to do but the views from each one are absolutely breathtaking! The food we had in the village pubs were delicious and there are lovely little gift shops, cafes etc. I highly recommend.
Beddgelert is a beautiful location. Stunning scenery, mountainous, lovely bridge over river, walks by the river, very picturesque. A very different holiday due to Covid-19 as only open air eating with weather permitting or eating in the bedroom. No pubs open but a few cafes and shops following strict safety rules. Still had a lovely break. Good places to visit not too far away, the beaches, the castles, the quaint shops.
