I went to Belfast to see the parade on 12th July 2024
It was an experience that I've wanted to experience for years as my birthday is 12th July
It sure didn't disappoint. It was absolutely amazing, seeing it happen with my own eyes.
We were in a great location being only 10 minutes away from where it all began. The Orange Hall .
The city centre is walking distance & public transport is always available ( not on the 12th ) as there is road restrictions for the parade to pass through. Overall experience... Absolutely Excellent & id recommend Belfast as a must & Antrim Road House to stay in . Visited the Gaol. The Castle . The Zoo . Shankhill Road , also went on the sightseeing tour ...Lovely food at The Big Breakfast cafe & O'Reilly's cafe & of course you've got to go to McDonald's. Loads of shops in the city centre too . Thanks Belfast & Thanks again Vitorio at Antrim Road House 😁

Lots of interesting places, very informative especially on the guided walk around the city and the hop on bus
Wasn't too keen on the streets around the hotel so was very delighted when we went inside the hotel. The main street was good for the bars and restaraunts. Maggie Mays served goid healthy food and was very reasonable, good value. There was also a beautiful Italian restaraunt called Villa Italia.
15 min walk into the city.

Belfast has so much to do that next year I will plan a longer trip. We have been to Belfast 4 times a year every year but each time find something new. This time we went to Titanic and we also went to the Botanical gardens, Ulster Museum and Ormeau Park (To play tennis, soccer and do the bike ramps!) all free and great for all ages.
The people of Belfast are very warm and welcoming and even offering advice when we were looking for a particular mural on the falls road.
Can park within 100 metres of everywhere and it is very reasonable if not free.

As someone who use to visit Belfast very frequently on business during the times of the "Troubles", I see a massive, massive improvement in the whole city and hence a massive improvement the attitude of the people. Belfast has a lot of interesting history.
Plenty of places to visit, what really please me is where the main marketing influence is Titanic, everywhere you go details industry in the areas, the growth and development of the city and NI as a whole and it is not all about Titanic. Highly recommend, to take the Red Bus, hop on/hop off bus tour and irrespective of your denomination get off the bus and take a walk along the Falls Road area and the Shankill Road areas. Make sure you visit Crumlin Road Prison
Present day Belfast is a credit to everyone of Northern Ireland

We really enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. Our friends did a "black cab" tour and loved it. We all loved staying at the Titanic Belfast Hotel - you can take a tour - so interesting and such a fabulous job of changing it from the Harland & Wolff offices to a hotel. The Titanic Belfast Museum was fantastic. All in all, a wonderful time.

The Titanic Experience is a must do. So well done.
The Titanic Experience is a must do. So well done. I enjoyed the hop on hop off bus and actually did the circuit three times over two days, getting on and off at different locations. I learnt a lot about the previous and current political situation in Northern Ireland. Being there and seeing the peace walls, the street gates and the murals made it all a lot more real. A great street to find places to eat and drink is Botanic Avenue near Queens University and the Ulster Museum. The latter is also worth a visit and is free!
A well located, clean and comfortable hotel a short walk from the city centre and the covered food market. The pub on the ground floor was also very cosy. We would recommend parking at the nearby Cromac car park rather than the car park nextdoor to the hotel as it was considerably cheaper. Our top recs would also be: the Pocket Cafe for brunch; the Spaniard pub for a Guinness or several; the Titanic Museum; peace wall taxi tour; taking a hire car up the coast to the Giant’s Causeway; and the Smuggler’s Inn for dinner (amazing seafood).
The location of the hotel was just perfect with a walking distance to the city centre and all other pubs and restaurants. There is also an off street parking at a cheaper price right outside the hotel which makes it very convenient.
Hotel was located in city centre. Buses were easy to catch to any destination less than a block away. To catch the black taxie it was a short walk.
Enjoyed our stay. Hotel had comfortable beds and all we needed.
Thank you😊
