Offering stunning views over Torrisdale Bay and the sea, Bettyhill Hotel is located in Bettyhill and features an a-la-carte restaurant, a bar, garden and terrace. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Excellent location and a welcome sight on the last night on the road for our Land End to John O Groats quest. Good food, good company and a brilliant place to set off on our last day. Thanks for a great, if short stay.
Borgie Lodge Hotel offers a Highland setting situated between Bettyhill and Tongue within the Borgie River Glen. This hotel is set within its own gardens. Lovely hotel, the owners and their staff are always on hand, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Would definitely recommend 100%
spent time at the Bettyhill hotel as part of our trip doing the NC500 on two occasions now . this is a fantastic place to stay , nice pub at the back of the property with friendly locals and good food and drink on offer . great breakfast in the morning , highly recommended place to stay .
an ideal location with some good local walking. The village store is a welcome site from which to top up provisions and the laundry in the café is a real bonus as such facilities are rare on the NC 500. The scenery around this area is nothing short of spectacular and equal to New Zealand's South Island in my opinion.
Bettyhill is very small and on a hillside, but the location of the hotel is stunning and an excellent base for visiting the surrounding areas. I love the wild coastline nearby, with pale sandy beaches bordered by dramatic cliffs. If I remember correctly there is a small public swimming pool opposite the hotel. I enjoyed eating in the hotel restaurant. I think artists, photographers and lovers of the outdoors would enjoy it here.
Excellent stay. The staff were friendly and professional. The bedroom was immaculate with stunning views of the ocean. The bathroom was spotless. The staff were friendly and professional. The dinner was delicious ,as was the breakfast. All the staff were friendly and professional. What a welcome!
A very pretty little village on an estuary. Has a lovely beach and an interesting museum. You can drive from Bettyhill to Ullapool in one day, but I would recommend breaking the journey half way to have a more leisurely drive if you like exploring the detours.
We stayed one night in a cottage room whilst doing the North Coast 500. Our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The breakfast basket brought to your cottage is a thoughtful touch. The beach is a short stroll away and is jaw dropping beautiful. The weather wasn’t great whilst we were there but it didn’t stop us being mesmerised by the ‘wild horses’ waves. It was a pleasure staying in this corner of Scotland if only for a night.
The cottage is in a beautiful location, the photos cannot do it justice. Everything was provided for a comfortable stay, great thought and consideration has gone into furnishing and kitting out this holiday home. Bettyhill is a friendly community, we loved staying there.
Great little hotel with a restaurant. Comfortable room. We had a good evening meal and a some wine. Lovely landlord couple made our stay memorable. Fantastic beach just behind hotel. Too bad it is not mediteranean water temperatures.
The view from the hotel was very nice. The food and personnel was very nice. Very nice and dog friendly
