Located in Bexhill in the East Sussex region, with Bexhill Beach nearby, BexLet provides accommodations with free WiFi. The property was clean, had space and exactly how it was described amazing value for money. Had everything you would need for a weekend away, iron, hair dryer towels etc. 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants and 10mins to the train station.

Located in Bexhill in the East Sussex region, Dippy cottage features a patio. Once you step in side Dippy cottage it is amazing lots of lovely things to look at . Very private little court yard and it was beautiful . bath was amazing , welcome basket with lovely goodies, butter eggs milk and water in the fridge . Heating came on which was nice , loge burner was set up ready to use , not that we needed to use it , we had a lovely peaceful time . Jo the host was a pleasure to talk to .
There is a range of quirky one-off shops, all within a short walk of the centre of town, as well as mainstream outlets (eg WHSmith). The great draw is the De La Warr Pavilion which never fails to impress. The town is clean and there are no unsightly 'broken' areas. Also, it is not overrun: the promenade appears to be used by the locals, but not is not over-busy. The 2.5km length of the promenade makes for a very tidy there-and-back 5km run! There are, it has to be said, a lot of older people but that is not altogether surprising as it is a popular retirement destination. That does not, however, mean there is little for younger people and families, because there is.
We loved this apartment! It had everything we needed for lovely week away. Stunning seas views, a balcony overlooking the sea and a beautiful modern apartment finished to a very high standard including a large flat screen Tv with Netflix. The location is great. Bexhill has a chilled laid back feel to it, great for a relaxing break but Brighton & London are only a short train ride away. Gemma, the hostess, is lovely providing a generous welcome hamper and showing a real understanding of the word hospitality, especially when I accidentally broke one of her cups! This was one of those breaks that went so fast and we really didn’t want to end. We will definitely be back!
Bexhill is quite quiet and the hotel is a long way from the centre. However Hastings is not far by car or train. Eating opportunities away from the hotel are limited but can recommend Trattoria Italiana
There isn't much to do in Bexhill. You have to drive in heavy traffic to get anywhere, often down narrow roads. It's all rather run-down, like so many seaside resorts. Local residents seem to be either on Harley-Davidsons or mobility scooters! It's no longer a quiet place to relax. We were glad to get home!
We stayed here after a day on the beach and rides at Hastings with our 5 year old granddaughter. It seemed the nicest place nearby having looked at all the hotels that accepted children staying. Bexhill itself is clean and has great places for walking and cycling and dog walking. The beaches are pebbly but the kids like it. There's a great adventure park for kids tucked away behind the beach - Egerton Park. Cooden Beach is slightly further along from main Bexhill. It has a quiet location but a nice spot for a bit of paddling and playing on the beach. No nightclubs and amusements though, if that's what you're looking for (we weren't).
A very run down, dingy place. We only stayed there because we were attending the festival. There were hardly any shops and on Bank Holiday Monday at 9pm we could only find one food outlet open (an Indian Take-away). There were no food shops or supermarkets. There was one small pub which didn't serve food. The buildings were mostly tatty, scruffy and dilapidated with lots of rubbish strewn around the streets and front entrances. Disgusting!
