This 4-star country-house hotel is set in a beautiful 110-acre estate on the Hertfordshire/Essex border. The house, the grounds, the woodland, nature, groomed garden with atmosphere of history. The spa was not bad. The service is fast and real. Full relaxation in fresh air. Fountain and birds were the only sounds around, so good. The breakfast had a good choice of food, tasty egg dishes, milk products tasted real farm produce.

This traditional Inn offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, 15 minutes’ drive from Stansted Airport. The room was great, for Europe, a big bathroom. All the interactions were great, super welcoming. The pub didn’t serve food, but offered recommendations of places a short walk away. This was our overnight before a Stansted flight, wished we stayed longer!

This small, AA 4-star gold-rated boutique hotel with a motoring theme has a large American-style kitchen, unique bedrooms and Morgan sports cars to hire on site. Such a well stocked fridge for breakfast, loved being able to make our own when we were ready for it Really friendly owners nothing too much trouble but they weren't intrusive. Such individually styled rooms but a quality finish and comfortable

Located in Bishops Stortford, The Fieldbarns at Bullocks Farm has countryside views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful accommodation in a peaceful location. Jenny was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The barn was beautiful, well appointed and spotlessly clean. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Fieldbarns and will look forward to returning in the future.
