Team members were friendly and relaxed; especially Andrea the Manager and Rachel who assisted with breakfast service. They provided us with suggestions for places to visit and things to do during our stay. We felt welcomed and very much at home! The food in the restaurant was excellent! Our room was great, and our needs/request for a ground floor room were accommodated.

A beautiful inn in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Lamb Inn offers a country-style restaurant and bar alongside its luxurious room and suites. Katie on arrival was very welcoming, showed us around and offered to reserve a table in the bar for our evening meal as we were travelling with our dog. We stayed in the Burford Suite which was a beautiful light and airy room with plenty of space. Breakfast was cooked to order so was served fresh. Evening meal was also very good and the leaping lamb real ale was excellent. Met quite a few staff during our stay and they could not do enough for you. As you can probably tell would definitely stay here again, for longer next time.

Breakfast was also very good

Bourton is a beautiful picturesque village, it has lots of restaurants and tearooms and shops. Everything is in walking distance such as the model village, car museum, dragonfly maze and birdland, i would recommend you do all of these. Also about 20-30 minutes away is broadway tower where you can see 16 counties from the roof, definitely a must, they also have a deer park. On the way back to bourton drive to Snowshill which is so pretty a d is where Bridget Jones was filmed.
Typical choclate box Conswolds village. Picturesque and trnaquil (though I went in the off-season). Plenty to see and do in here and the surrounding area, and if you're a cyclist, bring the bike. There's an EV charge point at the Co-Op (only the 7Kw overnight type), but the nearest fast charger is only 20min drive away. There are some nice pubs here but the Kingsbridge is not one of them. The motor museum and model village are worth a look.
A pretty Cotswold village with quaint pubs, gift shops, good food and lots of coffee shops / tea rooms. Lots to do and see in the surrounding area too, we only had a short break but you could easily fill a week travelling around.
A very attractive town, with the river Windrush and its many bridges. There are many interesting shops and eating places and the town is very well situated for visiting the many nearby attractions. The motor museum is well worth a visit.
Beautifully small and picturesque with a good supply of restaurants/cafes, bars, and lovely independent shops. Fabulous and charming properties around the edges. The Motor Museum and Model Village are very interesting and you can take a lovely walk along the riverside. A public car park is situated about 5 mins walk from the village. Make sure you visit one of the gorgeous tea rooms for a refreshing drink and piece of homemade cake. Lovely gift shops. It's a very romantic village and we witnessed a proposal on one of the bridges at dusk!
We have visited Bourton on the Water before and found it just as magical this time. It is truly a beautiful, relaxing place with plenty of charming little shops to visit. In the night time, it looks just as special with all the sparkling lights in the bars and restaurants and people sitting by the water with their children and dogs. Such a lovely atmosphere.
Bourton on the Water
The hotel/pub was amazing. Right in the centre of the village. The beer gardens at the back we're fabulous- alongside the river- just perfect location. The staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. The food was exceptional. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and it was first class but the breakfast was just outstanding. We had just come off a luxury cruise and were more than impressed with the standard.
Bourton on the Water
We booked The Mousetrap as the last night of our honeymoon with our dog. We had a very friendly welcome and the hotel was very very dog friendly. Lovely quirky room with HUGE bed. Good shower and other facilities. The bar and restaurant have great decor and breakfast was delicious. The location is great... a short walk to the main street in Bourton but tucked away from the business.
Bourton on the Water
We loved it all. The family that own the hotel are lovely and go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay; the location is perfect for Bourton-on-the-water, but also a great base to explore other areas in the Cotswolds; the room was comfy and clean; the breakfast was very tasty and filling - a great way to start each day.
Bourton on the Water
The room was clean and nicely decorated. The position very good (Bourton on the Water itself is great place to stay if you are visiting the Cotswolds area). Free parking. The hosts very lovely and they cooked us a delicious breakfast! Very happy, definitely good value for money! We will go back!
This is surely the best located hotel in Bourton on the Water, with seated bar area too the front and a more peaceful garden area to the rear. The building itself is centuries old and full of character, would definitely visit again, even in winter to experience the open fires.
Great location and friendly staff! Charming hotel with comfortable, clean rooms. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Bourton-on-the-Water and the staff were very helpful. Food was good at the hotel, especially the breakfast. Would come here again!

Bourton on the Water
We were given a warm and friendly welcome by the owners, with the offer of tea/coffee and cake, which was a lovely touch. The B&B is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and our room was comfortable, with the addition of a fridge containing real milk and bottled water, which was replenished each day; small touches like this make a big difference, a cup of tea first thing a pleasure, where the standard UHT would have been less so. David and Dawn were excellent hosts, with David being on hand to serve the excellent breakfasts cooked by Dawn. I very much ,appreciated being able to have a vegetarian cooked breakfast. David was also able to recommend local restaurants to guests and also places to visit. Bourton on the Water is a very pretty village and the B&B is within easy walking distance of the centre, and very close to the Birdland Park and Gardens, which is on our list for our next visit. Whilst it was very busy at the weekend, there are many restaurants and tea shops available and, we found it extremely relaxing to sit by the river and take in the atmosphere of people enjoying themselves. The B&B has a very pretty garden, where we were able to sit out and relax when we returned in the evening, plus a terrace with tables and chairs to sit and enjoy a drink. Altogether a wonderful stay. Thank you
