The included breakfast was exceptional. Very good with a good selection and plenty of it. Meals in the pub were very good and very reasonably priced. I had Homemade steak pie and chips at only £8-50 and my wife had an OAP's chicken roast dinner including pudding for £6-50. Excellent value. The room was large with a very comfotable bed and also a large ensuite. The pub is right in the heart of the old town and so, is a good half hours walk from the town centre / harbour /sea front area but having said that it gets you away from all that crazyness. The price was very competitive especially as it includes that excellent breakfast. We would be more than happy to stay here again.

Bridlington was a flat place so no trouble for older or disabled people walking around. It has a railway station and a great flower display in that station. I enjoyed walking around the shops and good fish and chips . Nice frontage near the sea with a long walk and luckily had sunshine. Enjoyed my time there as a pensioner and lots of friendly people. I went to the Regent bingo hall in the evenings as its somewhere a single traveller can do. Train trip to Scarborough for half a day so plenty of places around Bridlington if you want to travel. Have friends there so was not totally alone.

Bridlington is a lovely seaside town with a working harbour and plenty of things to do for young and old. It has lovely views of the surrounding cliffs and 2 great beaches like all towns it has a few run down spots but it always has a warm welcome wherever you go. The Spa theatre puts on a variety of shows and it has an excellent leisure centre with lots of sports facilities. Everywhere is walkable and there are plenty to shops and eateries to suit all tastes.

It's better here than Skegness or Ingoldmells, but the availability of shops isn't the best. There isn't that much to do. We did the speedboat, pirate boat, arcades etc, kinda did it all by day 2 and we didn't have much else to do. Some chip shops were really expensive, like £2.80 for a small sausage was ridiculous. But then we spotted hotdogs for £1, so choose your venues carefully. Sleezy bloke on the hook a duck flirting with my missus. 3 people playing it and none got a star, it's clear none of the ducks have stars, shameful ripping the children off. It was ok.. It's no Newquay or Anglesey that's for sure, but for a day trip, maybe 2, it's fine, any longer than that and you'll be looking forward to coming home.

Nice town and fairground. Plenty of room on the beaches. Places to visit close by. We went to Sewerby on the land train. We also visited the Animal park near by which was really nice. There was a flying display and you could feed and hold some of the animals. Really friendly staff there.

I've seen some reviews to the effect that this hotel is closed. Nothing could be further from the truth - it is very much alive and kicking ! Rooms were great and the hotel in a fantastic location for central Bridlington, but just far enough away to make it a quiter location for the discerning sea-side visitor. They don't do breakfast but if you walk to the Premier Inn a few minutes away you can get breakfast and for two under 16s, it will be free. Recommended

The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean & the bed comfortable. The fact that the hotel shared a site with the inn was a bonus as we were able to enjoy a drink & a meal in the beer garden, in the sunshine, before going out for the evening to Bridlington Spa. The quality and range of food, both in the evening & at breakfast, was good and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The location is within a few minutes walk of everything and in a quiet area. This is an old school style inn/hotel, the bed was comfy, shower was warm, our room was very clean and had amazing hospitality and was made to feel very welcome by the owner. And that is the bare essentials you should get at any hotel, whether it be 7* in Dubai or in Bridlington. We got exactly what we paid for and had a great experience!
