All the rooms are themed. Mine was a single and small but not cramped. The bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and a good force and the breakfast was absolutely first class. Best of all though are the staff, who are welcoming, helpful and friendly. A first class stay and I will be back.

FAQs about hotels in Brighton & Hove

Colorful by Day and Night

Known for colorful nightlife and traditional English seaside pursuits, Brighton and nearby Hove are the closest beach resorts to London, making them popular end points for classic car runs from the capital. Many end at the racetrack, a few streets from Brighton Marina, Europe’s largest, housing several shops and eateries. Many Brighton guesthouses on Booking.com are also nearby.

Running along the beachfront is the world’s oldest operating electric train, ending by Brighton Pier. Lit up at night and also known as Palace Pier, this city icon houses amusements and rides, and is one place to pick up some famous Brighton Rock, the confectionery sharing its name with an edgy Graham Greene novel set here.

A new addition, the Brighton Wheel is right by the pier, while one of its most famous attractions is the Royal Pavilion, a former royal retreat built in Indian style.

Just west are 2 of the most popular Brighton shopping spots – Churchill Square shopping center and The Lanes with its narrow streets and unusual shops. This area also has several Brighton hotels with parking, and the Artists Quarter, a series of ex-fishing huts that are now galleries. Arts + culture are big in Brighton, and Brighton Festival is the UK’s 2nd largest arts festival, while Brighton Pride is also a big event on the annual calendar.

Brighton has some of the diversity of London in terms of culture and cuisine and art, as well as the 'you do your thing and I'll do mine' attitude that I love but without as many crowds and in a much smaller area. Plus, you get to swim in the sea and not get sand in your bits 🤣 (it's pebble). What's not to love? 🤷🏽‍♀️

I love it - the sea front and its cafe life are quite intoxicating and different from anywhere else I have visited in GB. A real experience for those seeking adventure, those wishing to explore or those who simply want to watch oldie world buildings and people interact.

Hotel is in a fantastic location, a very short walk to the beach. Brighton centre is also walkable albeit quite a lengthy walk. Hotel decor is a little outdated but rooms comfortable and well sized. Parking is very tight if you are in the rear car park, may not be suitable for very large cars - but it is free if there are spaces! Breakfast was average at best - overcooked fried eggs and very watery mushrooms. Continental options were OK.

Excellent location with plenty of nearby places to eat and drink in particular. Beach a 2 minute walk away. Nearby electric bike hire to zip into Brighton, costing less than £2, or a 15 min slow stroll. Comfortable place to stay with everything we wanted. Quirky instructions to add fabulous character to an already wonderful property. Double bed seems to be memory foam, honestly the best nights sleep in ages. We'll definitely be back.

Stayed there on my own for work related visit to Brighton. Staff were friendly, reception open 24 hours. Breakfast was OK not a massive choice but had wgat I wanted so good for me. Room was adequate, nice comfortable bed and pillows. Furniture in room a little outdated but did the job that it needed to. Overall the Beach Hotel is not a luxurious hotel but we'll worth the £90 per night I paid.

The hotel was located right on the beach and near the heart of Brighton, making it easy to access all the sights of Brighton while having food and entertainment nearby. Aside from the location, the staff was wonderful, and the breakfast was top notch. The bar service staff working in the evening were also great.
