The room had a kettle for making hot drinks plus a Nespresso machine for coffee. A cooked breakfast is available daily plus lunch and dinner. Only stayed for one night for a personal event so didn’t spend time in the town. Left the next day. Would avoid staying at Rajmoni “Apartment” - as it is actually not an apartment only a shared house. No privacy and they advertise as ensuite and come up with an excuse to explain why its not when you arrive. Not worth the money.
The hotel had lovely decor, but the bar outside seating was messy and the staff were abrupt and not helpful or on top of jobs that needed doing.in the bar area. When in my hotel room I could hear guests talking and walking past quite clearly which kept me awake leading to not a good sleep.
Visited family so sightseeing in Bromley not a priority. Hotel was lovely though, and the breakfast the best we’ve had from then other hotels we’ve s stayed in in different areas during this Uk visit. Having said that, there are loads of fabulous shops and wonderful restaurants in Bromley. We went to Paloma’s restaurant which had a lovely ambience and delicious food.
I was there for a family funeral. But in spite of that, my first visit to Bromley was very satisfactory. The bus and rail links were very good. Local people very helpful- when I couldn't find the street my hotel was in, a local looked at the picture I showed them. "Ah, yes, " they said "that nice place just past the station and over the bridge, then the first turning left..." In Beckenham High Street I had a couple of lamb cutlets to die for. Sadly, I didn't make a note of the name of the restaurant. I had drinks in both the Weatnherspoon's pub opposite the station and the wake was in the Bricklayer's Arms. Both very good.
The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. My room was clean and comfy. Unfortunately there was alot of mechanical noises throughout the night, I put these noises down to perhaps generators, but it was a pain. I would definitely stay again but I would like a better view from my room.
Great location due to the shops and local facilities including excellent transport links surrounding the local area and of course the London commute is ideal from this location. The parks are not being maintained to the previous local standards. This is disappointing to see this type of neglect of such an important public facility. (Shortlands).
Bromley
Good size room. Comfortable bed. Large shower, even though I do not like a shower in the bath this one was not too bad. Sufficient free parking spaces, not common in London. Nice area with small park in front of hotel. Breakfast was OK, freshly made.
- Best value around the Bromley area from what I could see. - Considering higher costs of other hotels in the area, this one was the best value. - The receptionist was great. - Close proximity to Bromley, walking distance.
For an old out of the way hotel, everything was top drawer, nothing was scruffy, plenty of parking, even in party season. The room had everything covered, even the mirror was heated. The lift was always available.
