Such a beautiful location, a really quiet peaceful place to stay and the lady running the place was super nice. The breaksfast was quite simple but i really liked that you could just help yourself whenever you wanted.

It’s full of family photographs, paintings and ornaments and lovely old furniture. My stay was for work but I know Bromsgrove anyway having previously lived in the Midlands. In my opinion a lovely place and was a convenient location for me. A great, location for leisure with great transport links. Mainline train station literally next door with great links to Birmingham and surrounding areas as well as bus routes
If you stay here expect to get charged for every extra apart from the room. You will be charged for parking (the hotel is miles from the town centre so there is no reason to charge for this (except to earn the hotel more money) Wi-Fi is charged for (you get 20 mins free!) . In 2021 wifi is as basic a requirement as electricity and again should not be charged for (another way for the hotel to earn a little bit more) The hotel advertises itself as a leisure and spa hotel, The gym and pool should be part of the hotel rate , This is again charged extra (Another way to earn a little bit more for the hotel)
We stayed here prior to my surgery at burcot hall and my wife remained while I was an inpatient. It meant she was close by without having to break the bank. Plus the dog was able to stop too which saved us money on putting her in kennels. Very happy with this hotel, and attached pub. Lovely and friendly locals, I would definitely use this hotel again should I need to return to the area.
The bed size was not as advertised, we wanted a king size in our "Executive" room and had to put up with a regular double. The room was smelly due to all the disgusting cigarette butts just outside the window. The plumbing was very noisy. The staff were unresponsive, the duty manager nowhere to be seen. Phoning reception was a waste of time as no one answered. The ladies toilets in the reception area on the Saturday morning looked and smelled like festival toilets with unflushed poo in every cubicle. The breakfast was unavailable until 8am on Sunday morning, no good if you're working early. The quality of the cooked ingredients were very poor when we did have breakfast on other days. The noise from rowdy residents disturbed us and many other guests at 2.30 am on Sunday morning, coupled with a false fire alarm at 3am we had virtually no sleep. Avoid this place like the plague. I will be seeking a full refund
My first time I stayed at the hotel was lovely under my husband booking that I decided, to book a room for my daughter birthday as she love the experience. My second stayed was terrible facility and room/pool didn't work!
Good atmosphere on arrival at the hotel, room was ready very clean ,went for evening meal had a chilly pleanty to choose from on the menu. Good nights sleep down to breakfast good and nice and hot staff friendly could not fault the place.
A very relaxing stay at the Grafton Manor Hotel. It was very peaceful. The room, a superior double, was generously sized and very comfortable. I really liked the high ceilings, period furniture and décor and the building itself was really beautiful. Although the restaurant wasn't open there were facilities available to heat up your own food and a complimentary buffet breakfast was provided for those that wanted it.
Location was fine, about a mile from the centre of Bromsgrove, but a pleasant walk. Staff were all excellent, very helpful and our rooms were opposite each other as requested. Amble car parking, a good lift but not too many stairs.
We liked the way the hotel has taken on their responsibilities due to the Covid virus. The impact on guests is hardly noticeable. Business as usual, which is what most guests want. Well done to all the staff.
This is a smart-looking hotel and generally better than its modest prices would suggest. The location is good and ideal for access from the M42.
