The peace and quite / location of the property is superb. The welcome pack and the attention to detail of the hosts was really good, as was the communication leading up to our stay. The resident peacock on the farm was a beautiful addition. I brought kitchen wipes, kitchen roll etc when I really didn't need to as it was provided. It is a home from home.

I always stay at a Premier Inn as you know exactly what you get, cleanliness and good service. This time, however, someone spent over two hours walking noisily in the room above me from about 3 am. Could not stand it any longer and had to go to reception to get it dealt with as there is no phone in the room. It was sorted out very well by the person behind the desk and as they quarantee a goods night sleep, which I didn't get, one days cost was reimbursed. Next night fine. A good touch was the Christmas present and card in the room. A small complaint is that the restaurant does not adequately cater for me as a vegetarian.
This was a quality accommodation with a friendly greeting from the owner. It's close to Brighton and well equipped for a very pleasant stay. We arrived early and were able to check in without any problem. All bedding, towels etc were good quality. Very clean as well as tea and biscuits waiting for us on arrival with milk and bottled water in the fridge. attention to detail outstanding and great value for money. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. The whole experience was much nicer than staying in a hotel and free parking is always a bonus. Breakfast in weather spoons Burgess Hill was great value for money if you didn't want to cook.
The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the Beefeater was excellent, the breakfast were everything we expected and we had an evening meal there one night. It was my young niece's 9th birthday and we had bought a cake. The staff came to the table with the lit cake and we all sang Happy Birthday. She was so surprised as we didn't tell her there would be a birthday cake.
Overall Burgess Hill lacks character. It is centred around a 1970's shopping precinct. It was very difficult to find nice places to eat or pubs with character. There is a great Italian restaurant however!
